Make sure you have a good mountain bike with shocks and disc brakes, because I did slickrock on a bike without shocks, and crappy brakes, so it pretty much sucked.
I love Slickrock. It's definitely in my top 10 best trails in Utah. I don't know what you had a chance to ride, but Porcupine Rim, Amasa Back, and Sovergn are great trails in the Moab area as well. If you ever make it back to Utah be sure to try the Saint George are too. Gooseberry Mesa, JEM, and Bearclaw Poppy are my favorites around there.
Just so you're properly jealous, I'll be there in five weeks. :)
oh man i love the slick rock and porcupine rim. i love how you can get such different types of riding so close to each other. moab is definatly my favorite riding area
