It does not matter how big Hinata's fanbase is. The fact that she i still a minor character proves Kishimoto does not care about how popular his characters are or not. He writes his story his way, and to me that is the best. That is what makes him a good writer. Sakura is amazing, and Hinata is amazing in her own way.

The creators didn't have to put Sakura on the same team as Naruto. The characters were put there for a reason. And that reason, I believe, is Sakura and Naruto are going tob e a couple. NOT Hinata and Naruto. Btw, Naruto and Hinata barely talk, there's no way they can be together, if you dont spend time showing how well they connect with each other, thend ont you think there is no future for NaruHina? And the creator made Sakura the way she is for a reason. Dont like it? THEN DONT WATCH.
