If you go to RollerCoaster Tycoon 2 and go to Options>Music Acknowledgements you will see this song in there.

I think the game you're thinking of is Roller Coaster Tycoon 2.

You could make a ride play this song by going to the music tab in the ride's control panel, then selecting "Ragtime".

I first heard this song on that game as well, but I just thought it was a song that the creators wrote. Just today I felt like listening to ragtime, so I tried to do a google on it. I screwed up and searched "Search ragtime" though, and that song popped up. It was crazy.

I know for a fact that is from RCT, because its listed on the game credits, it also inspired me to play piano.

Joplin's music is some of the happiest, good-natured, and enjoyable music I've ever heard. Nice job. Good proper "slow march tempo" too. Most people posting Joplin videos see only the word "slow" and not the word "march" after it.
