This is an excellent recipe. The feijoada is divine,absolutely wonderful and delicious! This came out so, much better than I expected! This was easy too, all the other recipes seemed complicated and tedious. (I won't talk about the none English ones.) I added,some oregano,cumin,parsley,jalapenos and red bell pepper and lots more garlic, cause I like that spice. Makes a lot too, and it freezes well. This is the one,feijoada,recipe to try!!!!!!

ok, but CHILI??? Really? Never heard of chilli in feijoada... but it's a different feijoada after all...
Who could tell feijoada would become an international dish!! The slaves who actually created the dish would never imagine that...
Another thing: who would add salt to a dish made with salted meats??? lol Not me, and I am brazilian.
Ok let me go, I am gonna have a caipitinha, I feel I need one now.
