I used to live in St Peter's and part of our territory was the Moore Theological College, Google it.

From my experience with dealing with JW's they only come to the truth when they starting really looking at the Bible without the interpretation of others and see that their leaders have made them slaves to a doctrine that leaves no room for a personal Holy Spirit in the hearts of His children. They read and see that their Bible doesnt line up even with itself where they have made changes to the scriptures. Their leaders have had to change their teachings multiple times b/c they are found false.

As far as defining a cult there are two different ways: typically religious or Sociological: but for this a religious or Christian cult is any group that claims to be “Christian” but does not follow the core tenants of the main faith which the guy in the video mentions those they don’t adhere to, I have talked to JW’s and even read the “What does the Bible really say” I know how they work and what they do, they are a cult.

@customanalogue 2. Texas W/T congregations continued to be segregated into black and white well into the 1970's. Black circuit and district overseers were not allowed to serve white members. This was years after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Voting Rights Act of 1965. The changes the Watchtower Society has made today are largely superficial. Ultimately, the society has not changed its racist ways. Shameful.

But I don't see that when I look at scriptures like 2 Kings 2: 23,24 where he has 42 children brutally murdered by being torn to pieces by bears. What dud they do? The man Taze Russel discovered this for himself when he began doing his own research of the bible. From my experience with dealing with JW's they only come to the truth when they starting really looking at the Bible without the interpretation of others and see that their leaders have made them slaves to a doctrine that leaves no room for a personal Holy Spirit in the hearts of His children. They read and see that their Bible doesnt line up even with itself where they have made changes to the scriptures. Their leaders have had to change their teachings multiple times b/c they are found false.

As far as defining a cult there are two different ways: typically religious or Sociological: but for this a religious or Christian cult is any group that claims to be “Christian” but does not follow the core tenants of the main faith which the guy in the video mentions those they don’t adhere to, I have talked to JW’s and even read the “What does the Bible really say” I know how they work and what they do, they are a cult.

Better than anyone else): Matt 26: 65, Mark 14: 64, Luke 5: 21, John 10: 33. Also, if He were merely an angel He would not have allowed people to worship Him because all accounts in the Bible where an Angel were worshipped, they told the person to stop. Most experts acknowledge the need for an aspect of "High Control" to label a group a cult. The watchtower still meets the standard but some other heretical groups would not.

@whitelight6970 well can understand that you know a pretty dodgy group of them (which i'm not denying there are probably quite a few), but don't think they're all like that though. the only group which stands out as different in my books to other religions.

@xenonfear well u are entitled to ur opinion and i have mine like i said i see the evil in those people everyday, im not saying u are one of them but wht i do believe is there is only 1 out of 100 tht are true the the religion and not the elders, and the person tht started the watchtower was a false profit he predicted the end three times LOL and here we all are and one of the first things jws preach is about men being false profits i see it as they pick n choose wht they want to believe or not
