i would love seeing mike come back for one more year as a wing he didnt get a chance to show what he still has. i believe modano healthy and fit in the playoffs we would have been a totally different team.

I'm hoping that we keep Modano for one last season. His injury really screwed him over, and I'd love to see him play one last season in a recovered state. Mo did so much for American hockey, and ending his career with a great season on his home team is something I'd love to see.

I think Chris can go. Howard picked up his game in the playoffs. Howard is in no way shape or form the reason we didn't make it to the finals. Yeah maybe some softies got in the net but even the greats make a few mistakes. I think Howard was outstanding.

Nick Lidstrom is Red Wings hockey just like Stevie Y was. He's given us many, many memories just like the rest of our team has. He's a special player in my eyes but if the time is right for him to do other things than so be it. Nickie will always be a Red Wing. We love you Nick!!! Youdo what is best. God Speed

Modano is clearly upset over his playing time. But I don't blame him. Game 6 was the best performance I've seen in a long time out of the winged wheel. And Babcock goes 2 a different line up in game 7!?! WTH! I'd like 2 see Modano come back for another year. But maybe it's time 2 let Smith, Kindle, & some of the younger kids have a go at it.

if I were Madano i would be pissed as to my playing time.... ozzie depends if a good back up is availabvle cheaper..Draper id try to keep around for playoffs..but let youngsters paly thro the season....need to get bigger and younger..

Moans really sounds like he is going. Lidstrom doesn't sound decided at all. Chris I think wants to come back but the question is what his role would be with solid young goaltenders in place.
