Go to Varusteleka.fi (one of the best army surplus stores in the world IMO) and change the language to English. I think they ship worldwide. Prices are in Euros. Spread this word around for the North American guys!
@MrBootlegMoonshine Apparently this one Finnish webstore that sells these also ships to the states. And it's also cheaper than the ones found by US retailers. varusteleka(.)fi don't know about the legality if importing knives to the states thou.
Great video review. I spent some time looking for this knife earlier in the year but could not find a domestic seller in the USA. I hope to find one eventually.
looks like 1045 steel, softer making it easy to sharpen but won't hold an edge for long but easy to hammer the dents back into shape. I agree that a choil is for the most part useless. The choil on a ka-bar bk2 is so small so i filled it with fiberglass resin. Originally the choil was used to shape arrows and acted like planer or shaver to round out the arrow shafts. It eventually got larger to act as a choke up option.
Excellent review! That is a very nice knife. You are correct I think. This is a knife that has little exposure in the US. Thanks for making the video!
