When I first tried it, i experimented a bit and went down to 600 rank, now I'm over 2000. Just a tip, stay to the standard setup, that's the best!

This is easily my favorite mini game on runescape. I remember spending 6 hours straight on launch playing it for my full set of void, deflector included. I always hated pest control so it was great to have something fun that your garunteed to get points at, rather than a game full of leechers that you'll probably lose quite often on the main worlds.

Do you have to have above 1250 rank when you want to buy your deflector, or can you still buy it if you have had 1250 rank once?

You need 1250 to buy the deflector at any time you want it, but if you get like 148 commendations and 1255 rank, then lose a game and get 150 commendations and 1470 rank, you cannot buy one. I would just do conquest until you have the rank, then just do veteran boat for void.

Thanks guys, I didn't plan on it but I started conquest today after watching your video and I managed to get the deflector in a day. I would recommend your setup just substituting in a knight for an archer and vigilance instead of shield wall. With that I managed to get 1250 rank without a single loss. Once you are familiar with the squad members and commands, it becomes fairly easy.

A 25 minute game will give 40 commendation.

Also, don't quit ever unless you've talked about it with your opponent first, it's extremely annoying.

Shield wall is the third worst command, don't use it unless you knight combo with halberdiers.

Funny because the day before this guide came out I played like 12 hrs of conquest and got full void, deflector, and melee and ranged helm. Wish this would have come out earlier Lol. Anyway, best strategy is 2 champs and 8 scouts. I only lost one game with this strategy and now have 1500+ rank. Like so people can see this.

@TakashiLyfe That's a bit unbalanced, a 2 champ set up isn't helped much by the scouts unless you are just champ rushing, but even then archers help guard you from invincible scout suicide bombers.

@Chris00461z Actually, it works well if you don't rely on your champs at the beginning and u send out your scouts only once you've gotten your charge ability. Then you charge up and kill the archer or mage, and this will give you 75 pts. With these pts, u then use stoicism so you stay alive for the next turn, and if the opponent isn't very good, actually get another kill as the opponent might send out a scout to attack your scout with 500 health and die.Retreat. repeat. works well.

Let me tell you guys something very important. If you are playing pest control and you see advertisement for 3x the pest control points for a video on youtube called voidx3. Please don't search it. I decided to watch the livestream that he was doing. It instantly shut down my computer, put a worm into it, aka a keylogger. he logged onto my account without me knowing, and stole my whole bank. Oh, something to add about the Conquest rank: a rank of 1250+ is required to trim a Completionist cape, so for those who's goal that is will need to be good at this strategy game to get that, or just be willing to pay to get the rank.
