As I watched  this video I thought of the people whose lives were to be destroyed by the incoming waves of European Jews whose armed forces would drive them from their homeland. I saw the bucolic landscape that was soon to be ruined by high rises and highways. The Palestinians paid a heavy price for the European anti-Semitism that lead a handful of European Zionists to work for a Jewish homeland in Palestine.

@loolee27 Sabra and Shatila were in Lebanon, just outside of Beirut. The massacre was commited by Lebanese Phalangist militiamen under the command of Elie Hobeika. They say it was revenge for Damour. The Israelis just stood by, watched from outside the camps, and waited for instructions which never came. Deir Yassin was a Palestinian town just outside of Jerusalem, that was something completely different. Both events are unfortunate, but it is important know your facts...

dam0nk3yking . They do co-exist with Palestinian arabs. There are over a million arabs living in Israel right now, who have all the rights of Israeli citizenship that Israelis have. It's the Palestinain arabs in Gaza and the west bank who DO NOT WANT TO co-exist and respect Israelis.

in 1947 the UN voted on giving 51% to Jews and 49% to Arabs.

The Jews accepted, the Arabs did not.

Thats what started it all.

All of this wouldn't have happened anyway if European Zionist movements didn't encourage mass immigration and settling on Palestinian territories. As far as the history is concerned, Palestinian action in '48 is irrelevant. The theft of Palestine by immigration was premeditated.
