He would love you and would probably sit with you and a couple of acoustic guitars over some cognac for the evening. Besides your lovely interpretation, you also have a beautiful sound on that instrument.

I loved this song when I discovered it on a relatively obscure Evans record several years ago, and attempted to learn it on guitar, but it was too difficult. For some reason, Very Early, with all its twists and turns, came easier. But with your version as a reference point plus my old sheet music, I'll make another try! All best.
