Je préfère nettement la version originale, faite sur synthés analogiques. Je regrette beaucoup que les grands maîtres du synthés aient abandonné l'analogique à partir des années 80 avec l'arrivé de la FM (genre DX7). C'est vrai que ce n'était pas facile à utiliser mais quels sons ils avaient !

On remarquera d'ailleurs que pour beaucoup de pionniers, leur grande période s'arrête avec les 80's (mi 80's), que ce soit Jarre, Vangelis, Kraftwerk, Tangerine Dream ou Space.

My parents used to listen to them and they had 2 LPs. I actually knew them before JMJ. JMJ and SPACE are totally different states of mind. I remember their early lives. Lead guy used to attach the laser to his head. Not actual laser but the fiber optic end. Very cool for 70s:)

Yes, they tour, as I know in 2006 they was in Russia and presented some new compositions. As I know new album is almost ready, some old compositions performed more in disco style, but I like it.

I read an article many years ago & Jarre stated that magic fly was obviously inspired by & succeeded on the back of oxygene (which is probably true),he didn't slag off space,he just stated an opinion (& probably a correct one) He also said that he did get a bit annoyed at people continually thinking that he did Magic fly & more often that he did Popcorn

No, Magic Fly is really not inspirred by Oxygene. Succeeded, maybe yes.. In the same time about their albums released Mike Oldfield, Vangelis, SPACE. J.M.Jarre is very tallented, but he overshadows other performers, that's why I'm saying all this.
