  • lol...That's just great. My grandpa used to play banjo. He had an old Martin D28 as well and he taught me my first chords on it. He wasn't a blue grass player, but he played the hell out of western swing and I used to love playing with him and going to see the big 20 plus banjo band at the Shakey's when I was a kid. If they let me into heaven, that better be what it is! GL HF

  • I loved my mother, but damn why didn't she play instruments and play like this if she did.

  • Awsome!!!! Thats so cool,a mother son duet!

  • Oh my....

Honestly, I'm not sure that it gets any better than this, Kat. You and your son are phenomenol. I'm not sure if you travel the road, or are looking for gigs, but if you are headed for California, drop me a line. I know at least a couple of venues that would be drooling in their beer for a chance to have you perform. Sweet job, guys...Do you charge rental for a chance to sit on your living room floor to listen to these songs?

  • y'all belong in the studio instead of the couch, your good!

  • You both are brilliant! :)

  • HOLY SMOKES!!!! I mean WOW!

That was as good as any performance I've seen on here including Tony Rice's version!

  • If I get chill bumps its gotta be good! Awesome job and those fingers of fire I do See!

You can change your camera contrast choices to Indoor/outdoor or Auto and get rid of the Yellowish tints. Try and also cover the mic I think its too close and causeing the rattling like sounds of reverbs. Killer job though Im a subscriber!

    Steve

  • That's really neat you play together, sounds great!

  • Whoaaa.... awesome!

  • In a family like that, all kids and dad should do the chores to let mom play music all day long.

  • Calgon, take me away LOL! I'm single so I get to work AND do the chores so when I do have time to pick, I'm in heaven! I'm happiest when my son picks with me! He's my hero!

  • Awesome! What fun

  • Wait a minute, would this be JD from the Florida Space Coast? I've seen him play with my good friend Richard from the Indian River Bluegrass Boys. Superb playing!
