  • Who are the 2 jackasses who disliked this video?

  • Whoever click "dislike" this story, you have a serious problem.....

  • Kudos to these young men who've showed true strength and character for helping these people and preventing a tragedy.

As for the others here who are using this as a platform to discuss religion, God, the value of strong windows, etc., my remark to them:

Start your own discussion elsewhere and don't rain on this particular parade--your comments are ungracious and rude to this story. Find a discussion board, post your own video and continue the discussion there.

  • Why must people take a lovely story like this and drape their own ugly prejudices all over it in the comments?!

People: enjoy it for the heart-warming story that it is...please?

  • They may have lost on the playing field last week but they won much more in the game of life and the hearts of the community and this family.

  • Real heroes!

  • Too long, didn't watch. I did look for the money shot, but it appears they left it out?

  • So wait, when people pray and babies die anyway, it doesn't count, but every baby saved is proof God exists? I see how it works now.

  • @coolgamer1677 thats correct, its one of the countless flaws in religion, have you heard of the fact that god has never healed an amputee? i guess he hates people that lose limbs.

  • ... no footage of the rescue?

  • good job fellas.

  • very cool. Proud of those guys,

  • About time some good news.. America is #1 Thanks football guys!

  • great job. Really deserve the appreciation

  • Fantastic. I wish there were more stories like this on the news all the time. Nicely done, men.

  • @karenella100 you wish more babies were locked in hot cars???? haha im jk

  • These guys are a credit to their school, community, the USA and the world. They are awesome people. We need as many of them as we can get!

I don't feel less safe because a burly football player with a hammer could break a glass window in an emergency. I'm glad they could, and did.

I don't care if their team wins or loses (okay, I'd prefer they win), but these guys are truly winners in the game of life.

    Much love!

  • That was awesome guys!!! GIves me a good feeling inside knowing that there are people like you two out there!! Good luck with your football careers and keep up the good work.

  • Such a sweet story!!!!

  • God anwered when she aked he is never far away, and bless are the two football players that God used them in this way!

  • The power of prayer. God is awesome!

  • "Safeties" - quite the coincidence. Well played, sirs.

  • Good job getting involved guys. The world needs more people like you.

  • Really cool.

  • Love this story! Just became a Missouri Western fan!! That is close to my family in Platte City MO.

  • That day, these two were angels! Thank God for them!

  • This shows true character in these young men!!! May God Bless you both!!!

  • Praise The Lord!

  • @hearmekayamarie Or praise the football players for actually doing something.

  • @AveryStover GOD gets the Glory. He led them to help that child. They get the kudos but GOD gets the Glory that he deserves.

  • @hearmekayamarie And yet "GOD" allows nearly a billion people across the world go hungry each and every day? If there is a god (which there isn't) then he is the most "jealous, petty, unjust, unforgiving control-freak. He is a vindictive, bloodthirsty ethnic cleanser; a misogynistic, homophobic, racist, infanticidal, genocidal, filicidal, pestilential, megalomaniacal, sadomasochistic, capriciously malevolent bully." Richard Dawkins

  • @TBat87 There is also a devil and evil forces at hand too.

  • @hearmekayamarie If god is omnipotent, then why doesn't he just get rid of the devil? Maybe because the idea of god and the devil stems thousands of years back and is a metaphor for light and darkness? The light being the sun and the darkness being what takes over the light every night. That's all that is behind god and the devil, it was originally created to describe the processes that happened to turn day into night and vice versa.

  • @TBat87 that day is coming when GOD will finish HIS perfect plan and the devil will be in the place that was prepared for him n his demons. Yes ive heard of the story of lightness n darkness....zeitgeist*. If the devil can make u believe that there is no god nor devil then he has stolen your salvation. Like i said before you just have to experience HIM for yourself. I was an athiest at one point in my life and im telling you that GOD is real now years later.

  • @hearmekayamarie Haha what is he waiting for!?! Also, if the Devil punishes evil people, doesn't that make him good? If God can choose to save you or send you to eternal punishment and chooses the latter, doesn't that make him evil? Wouldn't you also say the teachings of the bible make god evil when he calls for the killing of homosexuals, disobedient children, women who are not virgins on their wedding night, etc. Along with supporting slavery and the discrimination of women - Some god you got

  • @TBat87 i totally disagree. I think your taking it out of content and your missing a huge part which is Jesus Christ. I have Christ Jesus my LORD and Savior and the SON of the GOD Almighty.

  • @hearmekayamarie Christ said the following passages, Those who abandon their families will be rewarded (Christ - Matt 19:29) I came not to send peace, but a sword (Christ - Matt 10:34). Futhermore, according to the holy trinity, jesus, god and the holy spirit are all part of the same thing. Therefore, god, who created original sin, needed to send himself to Earth and be killed in order to remove the sin that he originally created. Seems like an out of the way method to reverse it to me.

  • @TBat87 you have to understand the full message scriptures In Matt19 Peter asked Christ what will their reward be since they left their jobs and families, etc etc to follow Him as His disciples Christ told him that since they had faith and followed Him leaving behind all that they knew that they would be rewarded The Sword is His Word. GOD did not create sin, sin came when man disobeyed GOD . Christ did not come to REMOVE sin but to save those who repent and turn away from sin.

  • @hearmekayamarie Do yourself a favor and search 'Zeitgeist the Greatest Story Ever Told' in youtube and watch parts 1, 2 and 3 and be amazed at what rational thought actually means.

  • @TBat87 Ive seen it before. It made a lot of sense and challenged my faith at one point but faith and rational thinking doesnt line up. You just know what you know and You just have to experience HIM for yourself to understand.

  • @hearmekayamarie You're right, faith and rational thought don't line up and I don't know how people would rather believe in something without evidence rather than rational thinking. It doesn't make you virtuous, it makes you gullible and ignorant. Your so called 'experience with HIM', is no more than the God gene (VMAT2) in action, which "produces the sensations associated with mystic experiences, including the presence of God or others, or more specifically spirituality as a state of mind."

  • Fail, coudln't smash a window with a hammer,

  • @copperkipper1 I guess they didnt want the broken glass to hit the little baby. Thats why they didnt break the window

  • @luigu15 erm, I dont think getting glass on the baby was of concern.. also they have 4 windows which they could have smashed lol

  • @copperkipper1 Well, to me that would be the only logic explanation.. woman dont think as us man do.

  • @luigu15 They did break the window.

  • @TraustiGeir Says who ?

  • @luigu15 You don't watch the videos you comment on?! 2:14

  • @TraustiGeir And you assume they broke the window why ?? It never says so..

  • @luigu15 See this: 2:14? Click it.

  • @TraustiGeir "He just to took one swoop or hit with the hammer and it busted, and i got him out .... " Please tell me where the window crashing is ??

  • @luigu15 Yes, the window "busted.

    bust·ed (bstd) adj.

    1. Slang a. Smashed or broken: busted glass; a busted rib. b. Out of order; inoperable: a busted vending machine.

    2. Bankrupt or out of funds: I'd offer to pay but I'm busted.

    3. Tamed or broken: a busted bronco.

    4. Slang Placed under arrest: a busted shoplifter.

  • @TraustiGeir Yeah dude.. whatever.. you have your opinion i have mine. I think they busted the door.. not the window.

  • @luigu15 The window is a part of the door so, technically, you'd be right.

  • @copperkipper1 Car windows are not plain glass, they're strengthened to meet safety and security standards. It's not easy to break them. Do your homework next time.

  • @TraustiGeir Erm I know that. But if you hit them in a corner (where the energy will not dissapate as much) they will break, Them 2 guys did it with the hammer.. the trick it to fracture the glass (a hammer & needle, pin or anything pointed would do fine.

  • @copperkipper1 Makes sense. But, unfortunately, that's not common knowledge and when panic and rash actions are involved...well, it doesn't help.

  • @copperkipper1 Thats actually an epic fail

  • well done!

  • how freaking dianty must she be to not break a window with a hammer?jeez

  • hi

  • Excellent story -- and kudos to the two outstanding young men/safeties who decided to go check "it" out and get involved in being a part of the solution, instead of catching it all on their cellphones and posting it online later... of course, later for the bystander this time would've been a tragedy-to-be.

Instead, two young men prove to be outstanding heroes and part of the solution, instead of being the spectating witnesses to a tragedy -- as most youth would've chosen to be -- YOU'RE HEROES

  • @DaSqueeb1 Couldn't have said it better.

  • Saw the story on ESPN today - so awesome! I'm a fan of Missouri Western now! :D

  • Their reward ought to be every girl on campus lines up at their doors every night.

  • Wonderful story, but what car makes a window that you cant break with a hammer, even if you are not strong? I dont want to be in THAT car, EVER!

  • @dssarr protetion against zombies

  • @dssarr usually, people like their windows to be strong. I dont know about you but I would feel safer is my windows couldnt be broken with a hammer.

  • @dssarr It's probably the dilemma of being stuck inside the car and having the glass shatter on impact and shower you while you were simply driving along.
