Nader runs on the myth of disenchantment. Every vote he takes is another liberal who is too idealistic to be intelligent. Every 4 he comes out and trumpets the things he can do, then disappears. What did he prove in 2000? What did he accomplish after that election. NOTHING.

Nader has great ideas, and is a true American hero. His record is dazzling, and he's very often spot-on in his diagnoses of American problems.
I met the guy. He's humble and self-effacing. He walks the talk.
Having said that, the undeniable truth is that his stubborn insistence on not differentiating between Al Gore and the asshole we've been cursed with the past eight years had hurt American more than all the good Nader has done--and that's a lot of good.
That's the bottom line. He blew it.
