Erm thats the most i can remember. the film i think was made in the late 80's early ninties. the background music is similar to michael jackson's song 'give into me.' the remix to the song was on a bollywood mix tape called 'ruff kutz' which i can't find online.

Its one of my all time favourite movie. When I saw this movie for the first time, I was touched. Every scene is worth to see, specially the 2nd half. Everyone has done a superb job. The story, dialogues delivery, expressions. Full of drama. Great job by Yash Chopra and the writer Honey Irani and all the actors. Hope to see Anil and Sridevi again back on screen.

ultimately, you are right - calling this a "parody" would be to ascribe too much intelligence to bollywood! they aren't clever or ironic enough to understand or make a parody. however, i lacked a better term for this...  hope you enjoyed it!
