Like I said. Don't believe in lies. Jesus came to free us from ignorance. He wanted to create heaven on earth. He wanted us to remember that we are children of God and that we are all one. He wanted us to love one another. That didn't fit well with the Priest. The Romans would have destroyed Israel (which they eventually did) had the people given religious authority to Jesus. What does Daniel 9:24 mean, when it says, "To anoint the Most Holy."? The rest of the verse refers to events that occurred at the cross. Did this also, occur at Jesus' crucifixion? The Hebrew word for Most Holy is, "qodesh haq-qodeshim". It is used several times in the Old Testament and always refers to the Most Holy place, or furniture in the Most Holy place ie. the Ark of the Covenant. This then must be a prophecy that Christ, on the cross, will anoint the Ark of the Covenant, with His blood.

So, the ark of the covenant would very valuable for its gold, but it was more so the thought. For all we know, those combinations of materials are special in some way to God.

Just one of those gold cherubim on the ark of the covenant today? Hmmm... How many ounces of gold would that be? Probably about 100 ounces? So, for each cherubim, we're talking about $100,000 by today's amount, and that's far beneath the real value of gold next to the paper dollar. If you had that ark in your possession as old as it is... it would be worth billions or trillions even.

I think it may be possible that the ark could have been found and could have been hidden from people. If the ark was found and the world knew about it, I think the world would be in chaos. All other religions would be proven wrong. People have been debating and fighting over religion for as long as its been around and if the ark was found people wouldnt know what to do. I think if the gov. knew about the finding of the ark, they would do everything they could to hide its existence.Jus a thought

People can't judge themselves for a few reasons. People forget or justify the wrongs they commit against others for example. Some people cause others to sin and justify this as well. Even worse, many people hide their shame and never admit to anything. They think by hiding it from others, they can excuse themselves.
