the moderator is very wrong - in 1814 America was no longer a colony- the fort was and still is Fort McHenry - because it was a fort it housed about 1000 troops- 16-19 British ships were present in the Chesapeake Bay - in the morning the smaller storm was lowered and replaced with the larger flag - 4 men lost their lives during the bombardment
