I made xmas stockings for my niece and myself this year. I took some old plaid PJs and some old teddy bears that I really didn't need to have anymore at this age and made the sock part out of the PJs and the top part that usually goes around the top of the stocking out of the teddy bear fur. Then I took the string that ties the PJs around your waist and cut that to make the loop to hang the stockings up. =) They came out really well and look really cute. =P
