Michael, My dad was stricken and wrenched from me this past July, It was Acute Myeloid Leukemia,and we were blindsided by it. He didn't even know. He wasn't fucking done here, and as a mom I can only imagine the pain of this. Watching my dear dad suffer and then removing him from life support is the most painful experince I have had in life to date, but a child ...we'll always miss them, and thank god the pain subsides, albeit slowly, but it will always ache.

I knew was friends with Amelia online (livejournal) for 2 years before she died. I thought i had left a comment here, but clearly not. I come back to watch this video often it is amazing, truly does her justice. Last December i got my first SLR camera, and i named it Amelia as she was such an amazing photographer. You did an incredible job on this song. There's something therapeutic about singing or saying the word "Hallelujah". Every religion has words with the sacred awwhhhhh sound. It's supposed to be the primordial sound of creation. Maybe that's why creative types respond especially well to it.
