Did you see my other video BOC on 30 minutes? They sell some videos too. However lasers do not show up very well on cameras, so you will never see anything like the live shows were. They were amazing...
Thanks for your reply, You probably went to one of BOCs laser shows, I did to, and I have never seen anything like it. That visual effect is still with me today and has kept me a fan of BOC through the years. Too bad no one knows what I'm talking about, because no one is allowed to display this effect today, due to safety concerns.
That is amazing! Bad audio, but what can ya do, right? I wish I had been there at that historic concert. Best live album ever! One...Two!...One...Two-yeah we're reallygonnarocknow!
Unbelievable. This (SEE) was the Cult album I wore out more than any other of theirs. I saw them in July 78 about the time this was recorded and they were in their highest form. This is rare, historical footage. Thanks for posting this.
Lucky to see the band with original members. I wasn't so lucky since I saw them 'til 2000. And you are right, historical footage. I thought was the same video as SEE new edition with DVD. I was lucky enough to see them with Allen Lanier. Now he's not anymore. But Richie and Jules are doing great job. Since 2000, I've seen them like 25 times. Now they are slowing down. Too much road.
This was my favorite album growing up... I can't believe what I am watching!!! What I would do to see the live versions from the album of Astronomy and Don't Fear the Reaper. Thanks so much for sharing this.
Yeah, the dvd is in Maryland but it is the same tour and year and sounds nearly identical (minus the bad sound quality) to this performance of RU Ready to Rock in this clip. I guess this one is video of the version on the Some Enchanted Evening album.
Yep....this is a video of the song that is recorded on the album recorded live at the Fox Theater in Atlanta. A fan edited the sound with a copy of the DVD and corrected the poor audio perfectly. I just have not been able to do anything with the file I received. As far as I know, there arent any other videos of any of the actual recordings of the album. By the way my name is in the credits for "special effects".
Columbus Georgia rocked that night they filmed there, 1978...

This is why YouTube exists, for amazing sh*t like this. Love the chick in red with the BOC necklace. She's probably like 60 now!
