Looks like guy lives some whre close to Yaroslavskaya line ... well at least i could say that most of the pictures are from there! forgive me if i'm wrong.
You were mistaken, it is impossible to tell that I live more close to Yaroslavskaya line, I am simple often enough I go on the Moscow railway. Besides, here not the majority of a photo therefrom (from Yaroslavskaya line).
as an American railroadeer I was thourlly pleased with the Russian railroads and fascinated at the variety on that same note I found Russian to be a very interesting country i am looking foward to going back in June to see more
very nice indeed....we went to the factory that produced the railcars I rode on for the 15 day journey I took the train is called the Trans Siberian Golden Eagle the cars are blue with yellow lettering ad stripeing...the name on the side of the cars is in both Russian and in English..the roms are alot newer than the older Russian passenger cars as you have your own room and bathroom with shower and bed to yourself..we went from Vladavostok to Moscow with a side trip to Mongolia and lake Baikal
most likelly I saw so many types overthere from yard engines to electric engnes to a few steam locomotives ..the ones of the diesels I remember most were tall and almost flat in the front and the yard engines that look and sound like our old American Alcos...but the best was when we stoped outside Moscow and our old electric engine cut off from the train and we were pulled into Moscow by two Steam Locomotives that was the most memrable of it all steaming into that Moscow train station
It was the excursion train (which two steam locomotives pulled)? On the Russian railways steam locomotives are not used for a long time (it use only for excursion trains and on holidays).
"the ones of the diesels I remember most were tall and almost flat in the front and the yard engines that look and sound like our old American Alcos..." Are there were diesel locomotives of series (2/3)TE10(M/U/V) or 2TE116.
no this was not an excursion train it is a luxury train that caters more to tourist that want to see Russia more than to the everyday Russian traviler simelar to the Orient Express in Europe..at the end of the trip outside Moscow the trains owner a man out of England owns a Russain steam engine a 4-8-4 a P36 class blue and red in color and the second engine on that day is a muselm piece a 2-10-0 black with red underfrane and drivers and had CCCP painted on the front f the smokebox boiler
well yes I guess it could be in comparison to the everyday passenger train that runs that route I suspose so they call it a luxury train but to me it was my foot into the door of seeing Russian trains and the country..we ran the same route as the Rossia(sorry if I spelled that wrong)the train painted like the Russian flag and we saw it alot ..this gives tourist the opertunity to expierence Russia and the vastness of it all in a luxuerious way all first class
And by the way, whether you think, whether new Russian locomotives and trains (such as TEP70BS, 2TE25K, ES5K, EP1M, ED4MKM can...) to be at world level or you consider their become outdated? (I would like to hear for a long time the foreign point of view)
well i saw both new and oler diesel electric power on the trains we had alot of really new electric locomotives pulling us and we also had alot of older powe some from as far back as the 50s all of which i found very fascinating..so no I dont feel the locomotives are outdated as for the regular passenger trains themselfs well they are not what I am used to if the concept works why change a good thing just update ..from what I observed at that factory alot of changes are comeing to the trains
"..from what I observed at that factory alot of changes are comeing to the trains" - What factory? How it was called and what it made? Diesel locomotives, electric locomotives, electric trains?
By the way, the oldest Russian locomotives regularly used, only from 70-s.
we went to some factory that builds passenger cars I cannot remember where it was now but they were producing some very nice passenger cars included were the ones I rode..as far as the locomotives well we had alot of newer ones pulling our train but we also had a few older ones and yes one of the builder plates was from the late 50s I dont know the class just that I saw it when I went up front to photograph it
In the end of my video there is some photo of new locomotives. Perhaps, you saw any of them? And what your impression of new locomotives was?
Excuse me that I with such persistence interrogate you, is simple to me really interestingly. By the way, I think, it is better to translate conversation in personal messages.
before Moscow the rest f the way starting in Vladavostok we were pulled by the regular electric engines untill just outside Moscow where the two steamers joined us ..I ran out of room a minute ago for the rest of the comment see my prior one to this

By the way, now on the Russian railways there were new Russian trains. For example: ED4MKM-AERO by Demikhovskiy factory.
