@Crochetjunky0610 Yes, you can do this with the HDC. You may need to work in some extra stitches and increase stitches at the beginning.

Theresa thank you so very much for your time and expertise!!! I learned to crochet in May 2010 via your tutorials. Now I have back orders lol I just love watching a project form into a work of art. I really can't thank you enough....you are a very good teacher and I am extremely grateful you took the time to share your skills and knowledge. The problem I have is knowing what to charge for the items I make. What if any is the general rule of pricing ?

@brazenfacedone I was always told to double the price of your materials plus half. I have found that is not enough but it will give you a place to start.

Wow! What a great idea... I had never thought of this before. And a doggie bed sounds like a neat project. I might try that someday... luckily I have a miniature pinscher so I wouldn't have to make one very big :)

Oh Teresa, thank you, thank you, thank you! Now I see where I was going wrong. Happily I can now crochet this tube, fill it with fibrefill and attach to the round crocheted base and I'll have a nice doggy bed! Thanks so much again! Cathie
