Even if that error remained consistent throughout the entire speed range, it would still mean that a genuine 190 mph would show 213 mph on the clock! - Yet speedo error always increases with speed, so at a genuine 190, the error could easily exceed 15%, reading an absurd 219. It's nowhere near as fast as the speedo suggests.

Ever heard of lowering the front sprocket? This bike has no turbo of any shape or form. The induction sounds hampered ergo standard air filter meaning no tuning as this is the first thing when tuning a motorcycle is to help it breathe. I seriously doubt this bike even has an after market exhaust. A lowered front sprocket will increase the speed reading wildly.

ummm busas can top 215 stock... they go 190 without removing the electrical system that acts as a governor to not allow the bike to exceed 190 mph, but it can be removed and remain stock and add a good 20 mph to ur bike... this is just 2005-2007 tho, idk about the others.
First off no Busa at anytime in it's production life from 99-2009 has been able to achieve anywhere near 200mph. The timing retard module is set to 300k (186mph) as per factory agreement. The fastest production Busa's where from 99-2002 everything after that was limited. Fastest stock Busa 193.44mph as per factory test figures. Guiness record is 196.86 mph with free flow exhaust and a blue printed engine as this was the exact spec of the bike.

Ever heard of lowering the front sprocket? This bike has no turbo of any shape or form. The induction sounds hampered ergo standard air filter meaning no tuning as this is the first thing when tuning a motorcycle is to help it breathe. I seriously doubt this bike even has an after market exhaust. A lowered front sprocket will increase the speed reading wildly.

ummm busas can top 215 stock... they go 190 without removing the electrical system that acts as a governor to not allow the bike to exceed 190 mph, but it can be removed and remain stock and add a good 20 mph to ur bike... this is just 2005-2007 tho, idk about the others.

First off no Busa at anytime in it's production life from 99-2009 has been able to achieve anywhere near 200mph. The timing retard module is set to 300k (186mph) as per factory agreement. The fastest production Busa's where from 99-2002 everything after that was limited. Fastest stock Busa 193.44mph as per factory test figures. Guiness record is 196.86 mph with free flow exhaust and a blue printed engine as this was the exact spec of the bike.

As this bike is stock it will never see 200mph as the Busa could never achieve those speeds from stock. the bike got to about 242 mph (the speedo stops at 220 at 10k rpm, and it kept going to 11k rpm. basic math: 242mph.
then I don'T know how you guy do conversions, but mph to kph is x 8/5, and kph to mph is x5/8...

I owned 3 from 99-2004, In 2005 i bought a GSX-R1000K5. So i don't need to tell it to a Busa owner. 200mph from a stock Hayabusa from any year is an urban myth. Truth is they were never design to be 200mph they were designed to hit 190mph to beat the ZZR1100 Kwaka as this was then the fastest bike at a claimed 182mph but was more like 175ish. Anyway, tjhe 2008 or newer Hayabusa is every bit capable of hitting 200, if it wasn't for the limiter. 1999's had 178HP, 2008+ has 197HP, you figure it out. Good job saying they're slower.
