Hey guys, how "good" your voice is has nothing to do with how high you can sing. Tone, musicality, and whether or not you are able to correctly hit pitches, are what characterize your voice as being "good" or not. Furthermore, don't strain to hit pitches that aren't within your range. That's just killing your vocal chords and hindering your ability to progressively become a better singer. Higher notes will come gradually with practice.

@Syuni2Kiss I do it on "Ah," But my choir professor would probably say switch up your vowels, and progress from ooo to oh then eh and finally ah. The consonant is kinda arbitrary... Hope I helped a bit :D

if you are switching them up during the scales you can also do "ze" and "za"

If you are trying to open you up vocal chords, I'd recommend "Oo"

best way to do this is do it with all the different vowel sounds, head voice can reach higher notes sometimes if you're using a different vowel sound, say for example "ee" you can reach the high C, but not with "aa" see how it feels on "ee" and try and place it in the same place with "aa" if that makes sense?

In 1 hour, I raised my range almost half an octave. I am literally in awe right now of how little I /need/ to use my falsetto for some songs. I know this seems like a terrible way to learn how to SING, but look up a song that has singing and SCREAMING. (This worked for me, but maybe it's a fluke.) If you can learn to sing the regular parts and then "quietly" scream the screaming parts, it feels like your throat relaxes on the singing after a while, and more notes become in range. /me is shocked.

If you cannot make it to say, 1:30, really work on trying singing songs you wouldn't normally attempt. Don't stress your voice to much, but push the boundries. I get no lessons, but have sang for twelve and a half years. And i'm fourteen. Ima try to get through all of it... I'll post it I can....
