Dragonball has been a lifelong amazing experience for me. I've grown up with Goku, from when he was a child fighting Red Ribbon, all throughout Dragonball Z fighting Raditz, Vegeta, Ginyu Force, Frieza, Andriods, Cell and GT ... all the way to Omega... man I thank you Dragonball for making my life so my life so meaningful.

Izumi Sakai fallece el día 27 de mayo de 2007 a las 3:10PM después de haber sido encontrada a las 5:40AM inconsciente en el Hospital Universitario de Keio localizado en Shinjuku.

Realizó 42 singles y 16 álbumes hasta el día 10 de mayo de 2006.
