to be honest Im glad he didnt win because although he was like the best he probably wouldnt have been in a band and wouldnt have written his own songs he would have ended up being one of Simon cowells little puppets who sing crap songs about stuff that dont matter.

@Dramaqueenliza1 Well to a point, Chris Daughtry still got the short end of the stick with their first album. Their management on the first album wrote many of the songs and chose which ones would go on the album for them. On their second album, Chris Daughtry was basically in complete control of it without so much oversight from others.

@ptschafer Management might have been able to pick and choose the songs from the first album but he actually wrote or at least co-wrote 10 of 12 songs on the first album. But all in all I loved both albums.

@Skillet1986 Actually I have to agree with you I do love Carrie Underwoods music, but all I meant was that Daughtry really set the bar high...and he really did make it for himself and become someone who didnt just win a competition. He toured with Bon Jovi!!! and before we toured with them and someone said to Jon that he was doing well Jon even said yeah Im sure he's doing great but unless he starts doing his own stuff he wont last long. And he ended up touring with Jon and the boys. Bon Jovi <3
