  • This person is a weirdo, a pervert, a loser, and a poser...with the worst worst hair implants I've ever seen.

  • he does realelize that iq only shows theoretical maximun mental capacit you can still be dumb with a high iq

  • I'm still waiting to hear from his intelligence????

  • The highest parts in Bogota are around 4,000 meters..so technically Bogota is the highest.

  • @gusfgwin u have to take into the account the bottom of these "highest parts", not their tops.

  • I disagree. He did succeed. While he did not accept any formal prize he did solve the Poincare conjecture problem; a success and mark of intelligence in it's own. You need proofs to draw conclusions. You need evidence. What better evidence of a person's intellect than that of them solving mathematical mysteries or expanding their field of study?

Again, it's not about the medal. It's about what the medal represents.

  • She dropped him for Chris Langan, no doubt.

  • Big IQ don't mean so much as people think because they if you don't create or excell in an specific area, your IQ is useless. This the case.

  • @reinadegrillos Success is not the true sign of intelligence, Grigori Pelerman is a russian matematician who refused the fields medal and 1 million dollar prize from the clay institute for having solving the poincaré conjoncture problem (which had to wait 100 years to be solved) that doesn't make of him and unsuccessful prson, neither a dumb! the materialistic way of seeing things is THE dumbs mark..for keen people like Rosner, Pelerman, Fisher.. life is an experiment to be lived

  • According to the American Psychological Association the current "gold standard" in professional intelligence testing is the Wechsler.I.Q test. The highest I.Q score you can get on the Verbal, Performance, and Full Scale is a 160. Theoretically, only one out of every one million people have an I.Q that high. The person who created the test (Dr. Wechsler) said that a standardized I.Q test cannot differentiate between people who score a130(top 2 %) and any score higher. I.Q tests are bullshit.

  • @82rondo

In the Wechsler scale an IQ of 160 equals 1 in about 30 000. In the Stanford-Binet scale its about 1 in 11 000.

It's a bit silly to give a person a definite score on once intelligence, but that don't make the whole concept of measuring IQ bullshit. You have to remember IQ is only one facet in the spectrum of intelligence.

  • So, the dude got the answer correct, and they said it was incorrect? BITCH.

  • The star of the show is Mr Errol Morris

  • This dude is totally nuts! It seems his goal in life is to stay in High School forever and eat dog food.

  • A true genius sees outside of the box and sees the big picture. Then they base their life on it. This guy is a fake.

  • I can't stand him. All he cares about is image. He is not a true genius.

  • how fucking big is his high school permanent record.

  • "Wild monkey angry sex." Hilarious!

  • I find the way this thing is structured annoying.

  • I wonder if all these details about city elevations were rolling around in his head while trying to answer the question in the hot seat or if he has simply become an armchair expert after the question was asked, looking for money like a lawyer chasing an ambulance

  • @Xwowplaya

Well obviously he researched all the fact in the matter after the show.

  • wow he based his entire high school and post high school life on a iq test he took in high school

  • how does a bouncer afford hair plugs?

  • "I'm not looking for a prodigy, just someone who can live their life effectively" That quote is brilliant. So many parents want their kids to be the best, they neglect what their kids really want, which is to be happy.

  • I wish this guy was an actor, he'd be like the ultimate werewolf.

  • its interesting to see that two guys who claim to have the highest iq both happen to work as bouncers.. btw the other guy's name is chris lagan. His videos are also on here.

  • not very intelligent that he didn't know the IQ-test only went to 150 ^^

  • @k171k0 omg

  • @k171k0 i'm sure this wins for the dumbest comment possible, no need to even look at the others.

  • @VisioninScience

Trust me, there are way more stupid comments here buddy :)

  • if he's so smart why didn't he prepare for the precept of the show instead of complaining about adrenaline depletion and seperation. Seriously, he spent all this time studying the show and never spent time researching what happens to contestants? Bogus. If he did and didn't research more formal questions, or if this I.Q. item holds any integrity after that annunciation; I concede defeat. There is no formula or intricacies, universally robust for such a complex question (intelligence).

  • LoL he mentioned Oceanside, CA @ about 1:15! I wonder if he went to the one next to the police station on Mission :) I just got my library card there! I love freaky coincidences like that.

  • @andyrooney12 its even weirder that i just had the same realization haha

  • HA! I looked it up after watching the last video and notice the correct answer wasn't there based on a technicality.

  • after so much research this "smart" guy couldn't figure out that quito is and was the highest legal capital in the world??? I'm Bolivian and La Paz is not the capital of Bolivia, Sucre is (see the Bolivian Constitution) . Also, Lhasa is the capital of Tibet, which is not a country, China is the country. Correct answer still is Quito.

  • press 6 for an erection :)

  • it was einstein that said knowledge isn't information. this guy should read this quote

  • PLACEBO FUCKED HIM OVER

  • NERD

  • "My future wife was there... being jewish"

  • LOL. Man breasty.

  • For some one so smart he has done nothing meaniful for society aside from bouncing, contributing to the dushbag population, and wasting his whole life screwing around ummm and darwin had a 135 IQ and look what he did.

What I've learnt from this video is IQ is really a useless and talent is more valuable. Talent is something that can be built up over thousands of hours regardless of intelligence and IQ is just something given to you at birth.

  • @MrPowerFlame

youre saying that an IQ test which was made by one of the smartest men in history is "amateurish", and that "testees" is a word?

  • @MrPowerFlame

I've taken the Titan test and its not different then other IQ tests.

Some spatial problems, some probabilities, some number sequences etc. Standard stuff. What's different is of course the level of thinking that is required in order to solve the questions

They where taken by RR in 85(Mega) and 90(Titan).

You find it plausible that he could of pulled of being a contributor and editor of Noesis with many 180+ IQ's scrutinizing his every move without getting noticed as a scam?

  • @OriginalMindTrick this guy is retarded. If you are asked a multiple choice question, you ALWAYS must choose between those answers given in the multiple choice selection. If the answer you are looking for is not there, simply choose the best answer. This guy has such an insane IQ, and he should be well aware of this. Thus why he lost his lawsuit. Imagine if they asked, who is the oldest person? (gave 4 famous people) and he says nooo its J Calment or whoever... stupid Rick... just stupid

  • @Brandonduboff What he said is that the phrasing of the question was wrong therefor incorrect. But really now you ALWAYS have to choose one of the 4 answers. I understand his point ... but in the end what and which are the same when you are limmited to the 4 given answers. It was just his desperate attempt to justify why such a brilliant and well prepared mind like his failed so early in the game. He always craved for social acceptance, he always felt abnormal and he didn't fit in society.

  • @Brandonduboff He tried so many things, being famous for winning a million dollars would ensure that he would get noticed by many people. He didn't even care that much about the money i bet, that's why he still works as a bouncer, money are not really that important to him ( despite of him being jewish , haha excuse my racist joke there ).

  • @OriginalMindTrick Just as well they don't test your grammar, eh? :o) There should be an apostrophe in "it's", 'then' should be 'than' and 'could of' should be 'could have' ;o) Damn, I am a grammar Nazi.

  • @Nautilus1972

Well thanks for pointing out my bad english you nazi :)

I've never taken much interest in spelling and grammar even in my native language of swedish, so when I type in english on a YT comment section I really tend not to bother with the insignificant parts of communication...

  • a better title for this episode would have been, "The World's Smartest Douchebag"

  • Ce sont 2 choses totalement différentes: être intelligent et se servir de ce intelligence.

I have a lot of respect for this man because he hide nothing what he said is what he think. Man thinks always of sex, its normal.

  • @ienjoymakingbeats

Maybe i need to improve my troll alert ability as well.

I really can't tell by this point.

  • @ienjoymakingbeats

You should really learn to improve your humour alert ability.

  • there's a misconception that genius and high intelligence entails certain personality forms or something resembling the stereotypical "genius". IQ attempts to measure potential more than anything, and there are thousands of "closet geniuses" that never show it, or know how to show it, or have been conditioned to know they can. some demonstrate such high levels of thinking and skip the "norms" of intelligentia and live their life by their own, no less correct, rationalization of existence.

  • This guy is a ex-nude model and dog food eater who lied about his age to get back into high school. What a freak!

  • @ Korpliq LOL me too. I luaghed so hard when I read your comment. I hate this guy for being such a narcissitic whiner and asshole.

  • It seems pathological and, well, stupid to let let IQ tests determine your sense of your own intelligence. It typifies a peculiarly quantitative attitude to the intellect that seems to prevail in America, an approach that Einstein would definitely not have endorsed. Probably has its roots in the commodification of the mind, intellectual property, students who see education as an investment - what kind of a soulless approach to existence is that? Generally speaking genius is unquantifiable.

  • lol i love when he get owned at 4:00 - 4:08

  • As Neo figured out in Matrix Reloaded: The problem is choice!

  • Yes he's overthinking it, but he should've been playing dumb just for this game because the purpose of the game is to stupidly choose the correct answer from the given choices. If someone asked you "Which one of these mountains is the highest one, Chimborazo, Mauna Kea or Mt. Everest?" No explanation, just the name. Would you pick Mt. Everest because it's the one you're most familiar with? Would you pick Mt. Everest because you think that's the obvious answer the interviewer wants to hear?

  • I knew la paz was i been there!

  • cool i got the same iq as you.

  • Just another resource to link genius with extreme mental illness (re: his high school experiences, his bizarre career choices, his personality).

He is correct about the question on Millionaire. I'm no genius but I'd be "overthinking" that question as well. But what he said is correct, none of those answers are valid.

  • To accurately measure one's general intelligence, IQ in my opinion is still way too specific in even the most well rounded of the better known tests to prove an adequate tool of assessment.

Intelligence is too much of a "fluid" quality to be deterministically measured

with a certain amount of questions that have no more than one correct answer.

Multiple choice or not, the questions themselves are binary and thus very rigid in nature. I would prefer a test based on problematic scenarios

  • ....that can be solved in innumerious ways. That would serve the "fluid"

character of intelligence AND eliminate the "ceiling" effect almost completely.

  • Through watching these videos, I have grown an extreme hate for this man. I cannot explain why, but I suppose it's his annoying appearance and stupid anecdotes.

  • @Korpliw

Or its because you never will be as smart as the dumbass in this video. :)

  • @OriginalMindTrick He is the epitome of wasted potential.

  • Comment removed

  • why the fuck does this guy keep going back to highschool?

  • I'm not impressed. He sounds like an idiot. He's done nothing special except act like a nerd and a wannabe con-artist. What is so special about this guy?

  • @Ben4004

Nothing special, just scored at the highest level on IQ-tests. Get over it.

  • @OriginalMindTrick He never scored "highest" on any legit IQ test. He just claims to have.

  • @OriginalMindTrick Nothing special just had a false IQ and boasted about it to the max, because of the fact that it is fake. Check out the great video "smartest person in the world" here on youtube and check the links, people like Rick Rosner and Chris langan are people who practiced at the IQ test or had a false IQ score and then milked it. And it is obvious from this that he is a moron. he wanted to relax in high school? i am not Genius AT ALL still got A in all but one subject without effort.

  • @Ben4004 a high IQ shouldnt impress you anyway

  • @Ben4004 He is hilarious too.

  • this guy is brilliant anyway, funny and smart, fuck his iq

  • @OriginalMindTrick Although not of particular relevance, just as Trivia I can tell you tha Stephen H. has once took the IQ test offered by Mensa in Britan. The reason he why he took is that he fell off the stairs once and had a black out and a concussion. He feared that he had lost his a significant portion of his intelligence, so he decided to test himself. He came to his home, according to his sister, happy because he had "passed" the Mensa test.

  • @AlgeKalipso

The Mensa test is not a special high IQ test.

Its only meassure up to 135. At least its so now days where i live.

But in any case its interesting he had taken the test and passed it.

  • IQ's are too vague. There's a different intelligence control test now - not exactly sure what it's called, but it includes a far more rounded and challenging series of questions pertaining to everything from physics to audio-processing to spatial reasoning. These are all nice if you like to know your intelligence, but the minute you are told "THIS" is how smart you are, you're limited to that fact. Don't lose sight of the fact that intelligence comes from both books and real-life experience.

  • @DaveDFFA

    Very true statement.

  • Woo i never seen this or the episode and i got it right! lmfao nothin' special.

  • "Wild monkey angry sex."

  • Multiple answers is for losers. try to give the answer straight away. That's who I play that game. I put my fingers in my ears and close my eyes, and say it out loud. FTW.

  • STOP GOING TO HIGHSCHOOL U IDIOT

  • @DarthZob

    STOP WATCHING THESE VIDEOS...

  • you*

  • STOP GOING TO HIGH YOU IDIOT

  • attention whore ricky.

  • Why didn't he enroll in a community college instead of repeatedly returning to high school? It doesn't make sense to me.

  • OK Now I like this guy. Having to do one goofy thing a week is effing fantastic!

  • wild angry monkey sex hahaha

  • @OriginalMindTrick that'd be a book that I'd love to read. any available on that special topic ?

  • high school student by day nude model bouncer by night". what the hell is wrong with this guy.

  • If this guy was even remotely intelligent, he would know that of the four options presented, Quito was the highest, so why didn't he choose that answer? That would be a measure of intelligence.

  • this guy is like fucked beyond all levels WTTTTF

  • To be fair, you can't pick a person with a high IQ and say why hasn't he produced on the same scale as Hawking. If you take people with IQ=100, 98% live boring mediocre lives. At IQ=130, maybe that number is 90%. At IQ=190, it's still probably 80%.

Very few can be world-beaters, regardless of IQ. Frankly, intelligence is not even close to being the most important factor in achieving success.

  • hard work is.

  • Check the actual data, moron. The correlation between IQ and socio-economic success is about 0.5. Are you one of those people who mistrust IQ because of they have low scores?

  • Comment removed

  • I don't like chris langan, he is too negative and too up himself, both these guys are too up themselves... but at least this guy talks about math etc. well, what has this guy done in the world of maths or physics? not enough to get his name heard. To me, people like stephen hawking and the guy who invented M theory are smarter than Rick Rosner, they just don't brag about their iqs, but they say Stephen Hawkings IQ maybe around 270, but Hawking disrespects iq tests

  • @Zee96969696

An IQ of 270 is utterly incomprehensible. There would be more distance between someone of 270 IQ than the average person than that of the average person and a rock. 270 IQ is not human. If you had 270 IQ, I think you would commit suicide living amongst people so much more dull than yourself. You would probably do very poorly in society as well because you're being taught assuming your IQ is 100. It would be like asking someone what 2+2 is, and if they are correct, they're a genius

  • @SkillingFTW what? you're full of shit

  • @Zee96969696 Stephen hawkings iq was reporter around 140-155 dude.

  • @Zee96969696 hawkins is comprimising his own integrity, morality, and principles in exchange for money as he assists the formation of theories derived from bent facts and nobody has, had, or ever will have an IQ of 270.. With these men, what you see is what you get and truth is more important than social satisfaction

  • "we would have angry fights, and in the middle of the fights i'd get a big erection, because I knew that at the end of the arguement, we would be having wild, monkey, angry sex."

a simple quote that proves his genius.

  • QFT.

  • @Macrokosmos, I don't see the relevance between this and his geniosity. He is a very smart man but inside, I see a confused person.

  • B==D

  • amen to that. lol

  • "Somewhere in there I decided: alright, I'll go back to high school and sit in a desk and think all day." That made me bust out in laughter. Why would discovering a theory of relativity book in Oceanside motivate you to go back to high school?!! This guy is awesome.

  • must be a link to forms of testosterone and inteligence

  • There is a link to developing increased spatial thinking and testosterone.

In a documentary about a woman undergoing sex change with hormon therapy there was an experiment about how the male sex hormone would alter the brain and the intelligence profile in a multi performance iq test. Before the testosterone she had strong verbal understanding and not so strong visio spatial thinking, only some month later on the juice "she" where performing a remarkable better result in the visual part.

  • doesn't testosterone kill brain cells though?

  • @TNUCARU yes it does

  • true, or you could just do some mental exercises without taking testosterone

  • @OriginalMindTrick Thats very interesting. The reason that males most oftenly have a higher visual spatial abillity has to do with mens abillity of aiming. This goes back to the stoneage when men was out hunting and thus having a more developed visual spatial skill. Or so I heard.
