Where your retainers all of the time when you no longer need the trays. I had actual braces in my 30's. Later lost my retainer and my teeth shifted. Now I'm getting Invisalign to put them back into place. I'm going on Tuesday to get my first set. So if you don't want to pay twice, keep using the retainer. I used it at night.

The cost really depends on how long your treatment is. Mine have been estimated at 22 months and I'm paying just under $7000.

Yeah, I was lucky enough to get mine covered by my mom's insurance. It cost $5,772.00, but with insurance it cost $4,272.00. My teeth are pretty bad, so I didn't find that price bad at all! It's not much more than normal braces.

P.S. I get braces in a month! I was going to get invisalign but it just worked out better to get ceramic brackets. I may do a video diary like this for the ceramic braces because I don't think theres one on youtube. Anyways, good luck! :)

I went to dental school & the bottom teeth typically have a permanent retainer on the inside of your mouth after treatment. It's a strip of metal that goes from your canine to canine(or eye teeth). And then the top retainer is the one you can pop in and out. Just thought you'd like to know that. :)

I like the invisalign better because you cant see them. I also like them because its easier to brush and floss your teeth.

no bout the same u can just see the braces easy to brush easy to floss im 11 i got braces it easy to do but depends on yur teeth size like im a short kid i look 9 im little.... so bigger ppl of cours would have a bigger mouth and the ortho chooses the places to put them in lucky mine it close to my gums the top brakets are at te very top bottom at th very bottom... and i can floss regular because its low... but theres a chance your could be high and you may have to do i the regular way.. hope

wow 4,600 isnt that abd, mine was 5,000. but i know someone who there teeth are not even bad and he is paying 6,100 so im guessing it all depends on your doctor
