Thanks for all of the comments! I plan on making another video of the new improved 6 mile loop as soon as it dries up a little. Which looks like never... Might have to do a mud run!
What is a good pair of off roading gloves for this kind of stuff? i'm pretty sure im getting a WR and i have some Alpinestars SP-2 racing gloves which is probably what i would use on the streets but whats a glove that you think is good for the stuff your doing in this video? Thanks/
I have several pairs I use based on the temperature. I can't really recommend one over the other because they all work good for me. Never ride without them though... !!!
makes sense, so do you use a certain brand for all of them, or just random? and yea i am trying to get used to wearing my alpinstars when i go riding..
If it is cheap and easy to make the F street legal, and you do not plan on riding roads much, just to connect trails, then I would get the F. But if you get the R you have to get a Power Programmer and a pipe to get it to run good. The R is tamed down and has A LOT longer maintenance intervals and a warranty. Good luck deciding!
Can't now after the stoned buying spree, arrives UPS tomorrow!!
Hey check out my $10 Ibanez video & description ha ha!!
Thank God for broke/drunk people at Shell gas stations!!
Bet that YZ is a high revving little biatch!
Next buying spree = KDX, man I really miss this after watching, this was a daily ritual for 10 yrs. back in those southern Illinois days, zig zags and trails . . .
How does this do on the street? Im interested in getting one of these but i will be doing about the same amount of time on the road as i will off the road..
To the guy that asked what the programmer does... Sorry I hit remove comment instead of reply. But... since the wr250r is fuel injected, the fuel programmer is the equivalent of jetting on a carburetor.
Awesome MP, MoBill here from ADV....you make it look easy. I know it ain't. Thanks for taking the time to upload that. Iraq download time: 75 minutes, LOL. It was a GREAT fix for me. Thanks. ====
Nice to hear from you. Glad you took the time to download. There has got to be some great trails in the mountains of Iraq, but with "obstacles" worse than boulders and logs I would imagine! Wish there was some way I could send you some high resolution videos. PM me an address if interested. Ron
No editing, just literally cut out new trails with chainsaw, sawzall and shears. This video shows me all the places I need to trim, every time a branch whacks the camera! GO JSP!
The GoPro wide before the HD version came out.

sweet video. what kind of camera did you have on your helmet?
AngryDook 1 year ago
stock exhaust?
matttdaking 1 year ago
this is a really good perspective to mount the cam on the helmet !
You should also try out mounting it on your chest , this makes you feel like riding the bike yourself while watching the video :)

What was your average speed through that?
Onetazien 1 year ago
@Onetazien 60 minutes divided by 11 minutes times 4 miles = about 22 mph on average :)

Hey awesome video. I really need to upgrade to a GoPro.
I have a video posted of my WR250R doing 94 MPH (indicated) but the WR250R speedos are known to be off by 5-10 MPH.

Finally up.
Was this in the reverse direction from the last video?
TheJediCharles 2 years ago
No. Same direction. Just cut out a lot of the straight aways and carved out some tight woods sections.
motophile 2 years ago
"Cut out" as in a different route or video editing?

Cool.
Maybe you could rig a circular saw between the camera and your helmet too. :)
JSP all th' way, baby!!
