from what i have been told from ppl that are not from my local field in ga. that the sport at least in our state has almost doubled which is sick to hear but yes wiping would cause the sport to die....kinda like airsoft .....no way to tell if your hit.

Why does everyone always count paint? Shoot what you need to win. People just don't talk about things like posture, ability to slide, accuracy on the way they shoot, laning, etc, They do it and stay alive. I'm amazed at how these guys have thirty shots coming their way with two people laning and they still get to the side bunkers.

playing 5 pods as a front player is already a lot...i dont play pro but I am pretty good and for me playing as a front player? i only need 3 to finish the game. If you use 5 or more then that just means your shooting at a bunker and not trying to get the opposing player out like your supposed to.

That's the most I've ever shot I usually only need two or maybe three. That game was 7 man not 5 man too. I usually carry 4 just in case.

The one problem with paintball, is that no natural talent is involved. Ollie Lang, Alex Fraige, Ryan Greenspan, and Todd Martinez were all childhood friends. They made a team called the Ironkids. That just goes to show that as long as you stay with paintball, and practice, you can be very good. If you watch baseball, I can't take my friends and go "hey lets play some baseball" and have them practice, they would never be good enough to even play varsity baseball.

That really is all true. I mean, what natural talent is there in paintball? The only thing I could think of is being very very field smart, knowing all the angles and what the rest of the players are doing on the field, including your team and the opponets.

Baseball has been around for over a century. it has developed into the sport it is today with high caliber athletes. rewind the clock to the era of babe ruth and you'll see "athletes" drinking before games and scarfing hotdogs. so take ur elitist attitude and gtfo. baseball is developed and widely accepted while paintball is on the cusp of greatness. Skill is an integral part of paintball and no walk-on could expect to succeed.
