in my oppinion this song surpasses any emotion the human heart can uderstand fully. any of the SH songs are indeed haunting, and have there reasons for being so. our hate can resurface at any given time and tear apart our lives as we know them. this beautiful song is just one of many tales of hate and anger

This song is so beautiful.

It reminds me of a young girl who went through torture, and is finally saying goodbye to the one who hurt her.

But I have a morbid way of thinking when listening to Silent Hill music. xD'

@TheRandomamp I always think that it's a daughter who was abused by her mother, and that she's killed the mother:

"Here's a lullaby to close your eyes" - as you mentioned. The closing your eyes part meaning for the last ever time that the mother will ever close her eyes :(
