When my friend sent his Xbox to customer support to fix the red ring of death they sent it back fixed with a copy of call of duty 4 for some reason. Some other guy must have left it in theirs when it got sent to customer support and by a mix up my friend got it.

Sony Vegas Pro allows editing of HD video with no extra codec saving required. I think even CS4 doesn't allow HD editing, its what we had in our video production class and we had to use SD canon GL2's instead of HD ones cuz the school got package programs through adobe and didn't want to sacrifice it... x.x Anyway, good luck with microsoft. after mine red-ringed 3 times, just sold it and got a ps3.

Try the towel trick you madman ;) Wrap the 360 up in a couple of towels then leave it plugged in for about 30 minutes. Turn it off and back on, should force the sodler inside to melt a bit and reseat the chips if you are lucky.
Is your console still in warranty? If so then sent it back (I'm not sure about this since you live in japan).
If not then take it apart (there are video on youtube) and remove the heat sink. Buy some thermal paste (Not sure how hard this is in japan) and clean the old thermal paste off and reapply a new amount. Then re-attach the heat sink and heat it up to reset the mobo and it should work. If not message me on here and I will help you, I have repaired a few xbox 360's so I know what I'm doing.
Off the top of my head: Espgaluda 2, Alan Wake, Splinter Cell: Conviction, Crackdown 2, various XBLA games (Serious Sam HD for starters).

I don't know if this is something you would bother with, but it's pretty easy to fix your xbox yourself. I fixed mine for about $10, with just some screws and washers, and a new coat of thermal paste. Look up the x-clamp fix if you want to find some tutorials or something.

I'm not taking sides you ignorant fool, I own both consoles. Buy multiplatform games for the PS3 in-case your 360 red rings (which every 360 has a 23.7% failure rate after August 2009 instead of 60% or something).
I also suggest you research more in 360 exclusives, You guys only named 8.

I have sooo many friends that have had this problem multiple times. Its cause Microsoft knowingly released console with a few cheaper parts and didn't bother to fix the problems that they knew existed. They are FUCKS!

Yeah, the red ring sometimes goes away for a few seconds, just to jerk with you, just like it did in your video here, but once it red rings, your 360 never works long enough to be of use ever again.

I don't know if this is something you would bother with, but it's pretty easy to fix your xbox yourself. I fixed mine for about $10, with just some screws and washers, and a new coat of thermal paste. Look up the x-clamp fix if you want to find some tutorials or something.

My 360 bricked about a week ago, and according to Microsoft, my warranty ran out SIX MONTHS early. Then they called me a liar over the phone. Luckily I had a warranty with the store I bought it from, and I got it replaced for free. Microsoft is fucking useless.

The newer xbox's don't have that problem anymore because they fixed the heat sinks. You must have the older model like I have. and no, I don't suck a dick, but you can tell microsoft to suck it.

Cyberlink Power Director works alright with HD. I'm happy with the 720p WMV9 files it makes. Hikotalk (hikosaemon) has a few 1080p videos up he's generated with Video Studio.

It always sucks balls when it happens to you. I waited years to buy a 360 because I hoped they would have fixed it by then. I got an elite and it lasted a year and a half.
Ring Microsoft and insist they send you a courier to pick up the xbox. That's what I did, didn't have to pay postage or anything. Failing that they should still take it back.
