I've got one of these and I can't for the life of me get it to oscillate with the volume knob the way that you're doing, even on all the same settings. Any suggestions? I'm using a Jazzmaster through the fuzzgun into a fender hotrod.

@ruarimacleod83 - You have it in oscillation mode, correct? Also, some fuzz pedals don't deal with buffered signals well, so if you have a buffered pedal in your signal chain before the Fuzz Gun, you might try moving it. Hope that helps! Thanks for watching.

@goldenmonkeycolor - It depends on the pedal, but with fuzz pedals you often will not get "more" out of them by driving them harder. Vintage-style fuzzes are especially prone to behaving badly with hotter signals.

Have you tried with the Rhythm circuit's volume knob. the issue with Jags and Jazzies when using oscillating fuzz is the lead circuit. Those 1meg pots are too sensative. you sweep right past that sweet spot of intermingled oscillation. try the rhythm circuit. the volume and tone pots are a smaller value so you get a more gradual sweep through the oscillation.

I want this to have a footswitchable gate not a toggle switch!  Mine stays in oscillation mode most of the time. This pedal can get some really nice fuzz tones. This and the harmonic transformer are the two best fuzz pedals DBA makes imho. Id buy another harmonic transformer but the box is HUGE!

Actually I have a FF and this pedal. The FF is more modern and this can sound classic or modern. This is a great all around sounding fuzz pedal. This is my favorite DBA fuzz pedal.
