  • Give me a kiss??

    NO!

  • Not much, but I guess the sound is lagging from the video only 3 minutes or so!

  • if these cats eventualy replaced regular cats due to natural(and un-natural) selection i would be alright with it.

But a real cool mix would be to breed a half bingle half lynx with a savanah cat if that were somehow possible,

  • @junkheadrev Yes me too. Imagine these cats running around NYC. Maybe they are big enough to take care of the rat problem there as normal-sized cats are too small for the task. Too bad NYC forbids hybrid breeds.

  • Meanwhile hundreds of thousands of regular domestic cats in shelters are put down everyday!!

  • @Maxokll So? The cats are dying in shelters because owners dump the cats and because other people breed their mixed breed cats. A number of pedigred cats is too small to make a difference - you'll not find Savannah cats in shelters, Savannah cat rescue has a waiting list; at most 5% of cats in shelters is pedigreed. Cat shows both bring money to shelters and give space to shelters to bring cats for adoption. More cats get adopted there than sold.

  • good luck PVP

  • wrong the liger and tigon are the largest hybrid cats a in the world

  • i have one :D... his name is lazerus :3 and he loves to sing lol

  • Desiree Carvajal is uuuuuugleh

  • That price just crushed all my dreams!!! I was told that an F1 was loike 1200 and almost lost my jaw then but now I know I'll never be able to get one ever!

  • shit id like to own one! i don't need a watch dog anymore.

  • oo look a new toy for the rich and spoiled ...

  • That's one huge housecat. I'd freak out if I saw that thing stalking down my hallway.

  • bengal(marble effecyt) cat vs savanah?

  • they are mixed breeds why do we have to pay that much?

  • @LionGoddess1 look into the breeding needs, i guess its alot of work, have losses in litters, small litters, hard to cross them and so on.. Servals would rather eat a doemstica cat then breed with it. So the process isnt like a regular cat breed or any pet breed as they are not really attracted to each other and must be tricked into mating. Sometimes the serval will not mate, etc.. Then you have the issue with, they need lots of territory which only rich people can *usually afford.

  • @LionGoddess1 Maybe because they're mixed with an endangered species from Africa??

  • Wow you have to feed them raw meat...unlike 'regular' cats that can be fed cooked corn and byproducts. And we wonder why pets are overweight and have issues.

  • why not just get a maine coon? O_o

  • @SoraQuasar

because some people might not be able to handle the maine coon fur? idk lol I want one of these cuties so badly :)

  • Aww so cute wish I had one!!!

  • where can i get one?

  • @gamerhacker13 e.bay

  • the audio was out of sync and the part "give me a kiss" cat meows uncomfortably and runs off.. dunno why but i lold

  • 0:51

    ENjoy

  • hitman 204x.. that would make it 150% cat.. works for me

  • I hate it when people talk about a living creature like it's a product with a price tag on it.

  • @lavalizard3 i my self do not believe in genetic modification at all and natural selection si still modification as far as im concerned different concept same thing pretty much. IMO.

  • Being pets is the only way these cats could stop from being extinct

  • Excuse me, but i was taught that creatures in the wild stayed in the wild. SERVALS OR ANY OTHER WILD CATS ARE NOT DOMESTIC KITTYPETS! THEY ARE WILD AND NEED TO HUNT IN WIDE OPEN SPACES, NOT ON A LEASH EATING HUMAN MADE ... CAT FOOD... IF YOU EVEN WANT TO CALL IT THAT, AND LIVING IN HOUSES, COOPED UP THEIR WHOLE LIVES! THUMBS UP IF YOU AGREE!

  • @embarandshadowlegend

    I totally agree

  • @mIGRAINeGRRL At least someone knows what they're saying.

  • F1s n F2s? WTF r these cats or jets

  • @kels800 "F" stands for generation. F1 being a direct cross between wild and domestic cats (50% wild). F2 being a cross between an F1 Savannah and another domestic shorthair (25% wild genes).

  • wow i want one hahahh take it for a walk so u cannot feed these cats cat food why is that ????? can anyone explain ?????? im sure this is comlicated any tips would be great and where can u find if their legal in your state id like to breed them !!!

  • @vinngrizzle basically cat food is corn, corn has almost no nutrition.. This causes cats to also over eat, corn turns into sugar in the body, also methanol. This drains protiens from the body. (high frutcose corn syrup is the same), dorritos etc. This stuff is actually very bad to eat. Cat food isnt really food, its flavored corn (most of it). Many cats shouldnt be eating it, but, if all you have is one thing to eat on a desert island, your gonna eat it after awhile even if its bad for ya.

  • God they're beautiful. I want one.

  • inncorrect the largest domestic hybrid cat is a ashera, half serval half asian leopard half domestic cat, price 22,000 - 28,000

  • @Hitman204x

    ...math....

  • When it starts why does it have to have her tung out?

  • Dude......gangster

  • also the way they talk about how you have to be comitted and its character traits is the same in ANY cat. if you think you can treat a normal moggy differently then i feel sorry for it because your not comitted in the 1st place.

  • @lillyleaf101 From what I read about them savannahs appear to be way more active than even active breeds of cats, more destructive too from what I read, especially F1-F4. Yes cats are smart in general, my regular kitty is smart too, but if you read about savannahs, they are indeed smarter. What they say is it's like "more" of everything a cat is.

  • no matter breed all cats are very intellegent -this one just has a wild attitude to go with it.

  • Wow that chicks voice is scary at 0:52

  • @TheBennyoo you aint kiddin'!!!

  • @TheBennyoo lol that nearly made me pee myself

  • @TheBennyoo its a dude!

  • Raw turkey is cheaper, than brand cat food & no chemicals btw. I have had 2 bengals for 15 yrs. If you expect a dog or house cat, NO!. These cats were started by a cancer lab. because the asian leopard cat is resistant to feline leukemia. They leftovers were than labeled bengals. Than the spots got popular. In comes the serval mix. If you want a house cat w/ spots, buy an "ocicat" Or you'll have a full time job on your hands.Vets, [most] Hate hybrid cats! You live with them,& compromise period.

  • @broodyart Why do you say most Vets hate hybrid cats?

  • @dinkidavis Because I have heard one say " they belong in a zoo" and comments from 2 others. I've had others refuse to treat my bengals. Also when my female was at the vets, an asst. held her, & she snapped out! Cutting his arm bad, Then I had to get control of her when 4 people,1 vet, 1 asst., & 2 just to see a cat like this for the first time, fled the room. They threw me a burlap bag to put her in! She trusted me only! when I held her, all was calm. So they all were petrified of her actions.

  • @broodyart I understand now. Thank you for your reply and good luck w your cats :)

  • i like how they are wasting there time and energy into finding servals that are endangered and breeding them with domestic and not trying to up the natural population servals themselves. maybe because it's not gonna make them any money and don't really care about servals at all anyway. these people suck at life.

  • @OkUrRight They are not finding servals in the wild, there are zillion of servals on sale as pets - google for them, I did out of curiosity, they are cheaper than F1 savannahs - there are servals born in zoos too. Think of this another way: people who buy early generation savannahs are people who'd otherwise would've bought a serval, so availability of savannahs reduces demand for servals.

  • @jewelmarkess but aren't they buying savannahs because it's illegal to have a serval in most states anyway. and of course they are bred in zoo(servals) that's part of way zoos do. either way. they shouldn't be buying servals in the first place in my opinion. i swear i think people do things just because it's possible and not because it has any benefit besides making money.

  • @OkUrRight Maybe, I don't know state laws as a very active large spraying cat isn't something I ever wanted, my cat is a regular DSH from shelter. But it seems to me that enough states allowed Servals even before savannahs, so Savannahs may indeed reduce demand for Servals. Servals are pretty domesticated from what I read, more of a danger to belongings than people. Also, from what I read for a Serval to mate with domestic it has to be a pet Serval that grew up with domestics, not a wild one.

  • @OkUrRight Also, I just looked it up - only Northern African Serval is endangered, not in other areas. They are also farily common and breed well in captivity.

  • This seems kinda wrong:(

  • I want one! Maybe an F6 - F8, but I think I would breed them with black short hairs if I had the chance.

  • subscribe to my channel and watch my kiteen playing with a little marble she found in my brothers bedroom soooo cute :)

  • Im getting an F6, little girl. Savannahs can live off regular cat chow, not hav to have raw meat, thats wat wuld cause accidents, to give them raw meat like that.

  • wikipedia said that 500ft. firebreathing gnomes exist.

  • dog owners don't have a problem with these cats sadly most dog owners don't want one.

  • She's wrong about the "nearly endangered wild African Serval.." If you look up " African Serval" ( on wikipedia) you will see that it is the LEAST concern! Jeez, Americans need to brush up on their knowledge.

  • @yellowwheelcar " Americans need to brush up on their knowledge" LOL

you're the dumbass that believes everything he reads on wikipedia. You know those articles are submitted by the public right? I could submit an article RIGHT NOW saying that cats can fly, so if its on wikipedia it MUST BE TRUE!

lmao you fucking noob, keep your mouth shut and stop polluting youtube with your ignorant and arrogant statements.

  • @hockeyplaya44 Dude, did I say that I believe EVERYTHING on wikipedia? NO! You're the dumbass that believes everything he says. Oh and by the way everyone knows that cats can't fly, plus I never said "dumbass" to anyone dude! Stop making stuff up! Oh and I'm guessing you're probably American, or Canadian.......

  • @yellowwheelcar its called sarcasm you idiot. hahaha i can't believe you're too dumb to recognize sarcasm. Someones being awfully defensive. hahahahha did i hurt your feelings. And yes, i AM American. And people around the world that stereotype all Americans to be ignorant fat slobs are in fact making incredibly ignorant and arrogant assumptions. Seems a little hypocritical don't you think

  • @hockeyplaya44 I know that cats can't fly you know. Hehehehe why would you think that I think that cats can fly! Do you think I'm that stupid. I'm smarter than you think and just because I'm younger than you doesn't mean I'm "dumber" in any way. It's weird how people always try to reply in a "smartass" way and think that the opponent wouldn't reply back. Looks like you're being more defensive than I am dude.

  • @hockeyplaya44 And if you actually read my comment properly you would know that when I mean EVERYONE I mean me as well. So think before you reply. And you know you didn't actually hurt my feelings, you actually ENCOURAGED me to reply to you! And if you read what you said you will see that you were a bit offended there.

  • @yellowwheelcar hahaha that was weak....

  • @hockeyplaya44 Seriously? That's all you can come up with? Hahahahahahahaha that was weak!

  • @yellowwheelcar You literally just copied me...little kids these days.

  • @hockeyplaya44 I copied you because I am AWESOME!

  • @hockeyplaya44 Oh and I'm not a "little" Kid, I'm 12. You only get little kids under the age of 10 or something.......

  • @yellowwheelcar I'm sorry, but the two of you are so funny! Fighting for about 4 months? Wow...In my opinion, not trying to start a fight, you're both immature for trying to win an internet fight. And I consider a 12 year old to be a child. You're not even legally considered a "teen" yet, so I don't think you have the right to say you're not a kid. And please don't try to start an argument with me, because you won't "win." I won't comment back, but because I know I'm the more mature person.

  • @TheLegendofZeldaGirl Ugh, COME ON I thought this argument would never disturb me again. Thanks for making me remember, pal :/

  • yeah but wikipedia is checked and your cats can fly would be removed almost instantly.

  • @hockeyplaya44 I wouldn't sweat this one bro. Have you looked at his channel? He's just a little pre pubescent girl, OBVIOUSLY trying to get attention.

  • instead oh breeding savannah's just breed servals so they wont become extinct

  • DO NOT SUPPORT EXOTIC PET INDUSTRY.

  • they will replace dogs someday.

  • @cedricalien cats will never replace dogs dogs are mans best friend and for me they always will be

  • @danmmilner how about a hybrid?

  • @cedricalien i still dont think so

  • This whole idea pissed me off royally! We already have a HUGE problem with cats and dogs being killed in shelters because no one will adopt them... Why do people need an exotic animal? What's wrong with a regular cat or dog? If someone is so eager to waste their money, they can just go the pound and pick one out, and then donate the rest of the money to a charity!

  • @robinminkler because they like this breed and they have the money. If you make the money, buy what you want. THen donate whatever you have left if you choose.

  • @wilknight12345 I know it is of course a persons right to buy whatever they want, my concern is with the animals who get left behind and forgotten because people are into "the newest thing." Remember what happened when Beverly Hills chihuahua came out? That craze ended in hundreds of unwanted chihuahuas in California shelters, who then had to be sent out of state in order to find homes! People should ALWAYS try the shelters first, before adding to the problem buying from a breeder!!!

  • @robinminkler I don't breed cats, and my only cat is from a shelter. But it's not as black and white. Less than 5% of shelter cats are purebred. Savannah rescue has a waiting list. People like certain looks and personalities, many breeders do rescue as well; and cat shows bring donations for shelters, ticket sales go to shelters; many shows have area for shelters to bring their cats and many of them end up adopted by people who come to look at cats. So everyone benefits.

  • @jewelmarkess As long as animals die in shelters because there are too many to house, and nobody wants to adopt them, the issue will continue to be black and white to me. As long as people continue to breed animals to sell them, they ARE contributing to the problem whether they donate to shelters or not! It's the creating a need for the "newest/best/exotic" animal that I have a problem with, because it just adds to the already horrible problem of overcrowding in the shelters!

  • @robinminkler How many bengals or savannahs have you seen in shelters? Other purebreds? Most cats listed under breed name I saw on petfinder don't even look close to the breed. They are just (mis)labeled this way with hope people would adopt, and if it works- great. Savannah rescue has waiting list and no cats. The problem is people not neutering their mixed breeds but especially people dumping adult cats, and not having savannahs or bengals won't make a difference.

  • @robinminkler You assume that everyone who buys a savannah or a bengal or any "breed" of cat would otherwise go and get a cat from a shelter. But some people just like specific breed, and not just for its looks but also personality. And sometimes people think about a purebred, go to a show, see shelter cats and end up adopting instead. As to hybrids, many of those who get hybrids would've otherwise gotten a serval or another wild cat. Hybrid breeds help reduce the demand for exotic pets.

  • @jewelmarkess

    Well said. Getting my Savanahs

prevented me from acquiring Servals instead.

I find the breed to be an optimal blend

of natural & domestic genes for myself & many pet owners.

  • @jewelmarkess My whole problem is with the wanting of a particular "breed." Can't you see that by making a particular purebred animal the latest craze, the other animals by default, become less desirable. I wouldn't have a problem with breeders creating exotic animals if the shelters weren't already full of less exotic ones that need homes just as badly.

  • @robinminkler I see your point, I really do, I feel for the kitties in shelter. I just don't see that purebreds who are make that much of a difference, at most 5% of shelter cats are purebreds, probably less. I think more cats end up adopted because people look at different breeds and end up interested in all cats. As to savannahs, there are very few of them around, hardly a craze, and a lot of those who buy them, especially F1s and F2s would otherwise get a Serval and not a domestic cat.

  • @jewelmarkess I see your point also, and really, I do believe that someone should be allowed to adopt or buy whatever kind of animal they want.(within reason) I just wish that people were more responsible for the care and upkeep of the animals they buy or adopt, and that breeders would cut down on the number of animals they breed until the overcrowding problem in shelters is gone. I think it's the process of creating the "perfect" specimen of a breed that leads to excess of unwanted animals.

  • @robinminkler

Rubbish. The excess of unwanted animals is due to irresponsible pet owners who refuse to spay/neuter.

  • @SavannahsRUs Yes, in large part it's due to over population, but what is a breeder if not someone who is actively overpopulating due to the "demand" for a product?

  • @SavannahsRUs we dont euthanize the homeless do we. maybe we should and crime will go down.

  • @robinminkler I think there are more things we agree about than disagree. People should be more responsible and realize than taking a pet home is a lifetime commitment. It's just that n the last few weeks I just got a bit too obsessed with savannahs reading all about them and watching videos... Not planning on another cat now, anyway, either breed or shelter - my 11-year old kitty is used to be alone and she rules.

  • my cat is also, intelligent, loyal, playful. and he didnt cost me a thing.

btw. domesticate endangered cats so we would have a version of them afer they go extinct? really? then why dont we domesticate other endangered animals as well? what she refuse to say is that, they are bred for profit.

  • @alexandria211 of course theyre bred for profit, but everything you own or buy, or will ever buy was made with only profit in mind. These cats are beautiful and smart in a way you cant even begin to understand. If i had a spare 10k sat around id buy one!

And remember that people love huskys and they arent entirely domesticated either, and could do much more damage to someone than one of these

  • i'lolld when they talk about generation

Is this cat is an Iphone?

    or wtf

    :D:D: Savanna cat 3gs

  • your typical house cat can train humans, like the saying goes.. cats don't have owners they have staff..so i would love to see one of these guys to get to a human.. would be funny to see. I would love one of these guys tho. i want the high strung vocal cats... hell yea..

  • We have three Savannah cats. They're AMAZING cats. They're brilliant, fun and playful. After having them, I could never imagine having a regular "house cat" again. I don't know what kind you've seen, patpernet , but I can tell you've none of mine have ever sprayed my home or been a problem in any other way. They're truly amazing animals.

  • why do we have to make domestic breeds to save and not make further attempts to save the true wild blood species? its what god made, should'nt we protect that? just saying...

  • servals are really that cute, id prefer a cat thats similar to a caracal ro lynx or bobcat

  • They're pretty, but not for that price tag thank you very much. I'll stick with my purebred Sphynx who is just as exotic looking, and cost only $1,500.

  • How do I know? I have been breeding and Siamese and Oriental Shorthairs for over 35 years. The breeders will not admit it but kittens that have an exceptionally wild disposition ... thus cannot be sold... they put them down. F1's can be very wild. I have a problem with any breeders who are still crossing to a wild cat. They do not have to do that any more. I know MANY people who have had hybrid wild cross cats and they are NOT house cats. I don't want my house sprayed all over... females too.

  • Audio is WAYYY off.

  • Lol they are making the care more complicated then it really is... Savannah's can eat REGULAR but high-quality... Cat food. Oh lawd. They just need a little bit of extra care then a normal cat. But after you get one, the price is just as normal as any other cat.

  • WTB 1!!! im from San Diego pm me please :)

  • They even breathe like wild cats!!

  • I'm only in to the Savannah breed when it comes to cats, if i cant own a dog, i would go with a this type of a cat, it look just like a big wild cat beast.. i'm sure whoever own these savannah cats feels like they own a big cat like cheetah or a puma or even maybe a lion king lol

  • i just love these cats. looking at them warms my heart.

  • I have an F5 Savannah, such a love, vocal, sweet, playful and muscular. They are a lot of work but they're definitely worth it and are very intelligent! NH here needs a permit for F4 or higher, or for breeding, but it's my hope to become a breeder!

  • fucking wankers playing GOD its unnatural you bunch of CUNTS

  • @JoeRUGBY10 If it had offspring it's natural. It's not like they're trying to breed a cat and dog which would never happen anyway no matter how much time and money they put into it. A cat is still a cat.

  • @SkaRocksYea ooo well if a cat is still a cat lets just interbreed every species we can then its fucking designer animals that are destroying breeds and animals its not natural because humans have made it possible

  • @JoeRUGBY10 technically sitting infront of a computer watching videos is a bit unnatural don't you think? lol

  • that's possible THE most out of sync video I've ever watched....Then heard...

  • @TheMrChugger lol so true!

  • We bought our f1 from A1savannahsxcom(replace x with .) We had to wait over 2years, to have one born, there is a long waiting list. They are great cats, they are friendly, ours learned to turn shower on....And he goes in the shower and lays down. Dogs dont even dare to come near him. people are always curious of what breed he is. ALSO, some states such as california require a permit to have one that is an F1. Breeds F2 and lower, are allowed without a permit.

  • i think you broke the outof sync worldrecord

  • STARBUCK!??? Why the fuck do all these Savannah cat owners give their poor pets the LAMEST names?? Come on people, have some fucking dignity.

  • @staphinfection : D Dignity ? How about Sebastian ? : D

  • my grandma has one,her name is sheba shes beautiful very very smart and very very weird!!!!!!!

  • The price really isn't out of control. I paid 2K for my bluepoint Siamese.

  • Breeders are disgusting people who only care about money. While they are very good at acting like someone who loves animals, the truth is that if a cat or dog doesn't sell they kill it and throw it in a dumpster.

If you truly care about cats or dogs you will never give a penny to breeders.

There are so many lovely cats and dogs that are waiting to be adopted in shelter. I got my cat from a shelter and she's absolutely amazing.

  • they're so pretty !!!

  • my svannah cats namae is teeko and he is a f4 and he is 6 months he looks like he is wayy older then he loooks i love him !!

  • there's already a cat over-population pandemic.. with millions of cats suffering around the world; homeless, neglected, abused, tortured, used for fur in china, etc.. as if people don't already have enough cats to take care of. soon there's going to be a savannah cat over-population, b/c its the new novelty that everybody wants. i only feel sorry for the cats. especially now the savannah cats which retain more of their wild nature and will yearn more for the wild.. instead of the suburbs.

  • I have Persian and Siamesse cat there both pure breed and both expensive...BUT THIS IS AMAZING CAT the video made me feel sad.

  • @imimampopsical something.....just cause u use fancy words doesnt mean ur rite....u are so of u gay peice of crap

  • My savannah eats everything. seriously. first he stole a taco bell burrito from me and just about everything else, except crusts from sandwiches. that makes me laugh so hard. great pets. fuckin awesome

also my girlfriend FOUND ours as a kitten. fuckin score!

  • OMG you really have that cat...iam so sad i dont i have Pursian and Siamasee cat i dont like you!>

  • It was a very bold and ignorant statement by the Woman in the video to say these creatures are more intelligent.

I don't know if she ment "intelligent actions" or not. Domestic cats use their intelligence in different ways.

  • I am not sure if my other message went through, but SecularTechnology was right i'm afraid.

Thats one of the many things that you will learn if you take scientific theory classes like I have at University of Washington.

A Savannah cat may do things that seem to require a much higher intelligence but the fact is that that is not valid proof.

There was a MRI brain scan that revield all species of Felidae have the same number of Nuerons (300,00) whether wild or domestic.

  • Lol 1:08 wanna give me a kiss "Heeell NOOO!"

  • That lady is Ignorant. She makes ignoramus claims that these cats are more intelligent than normal house cars.

I think by "more intelligence that you are used to" she was infering that you were used to her. :)

  • Gosh people!! Ther r plenty of cute cats that need to b adopted stop spending ridiculous money on breeders

  • people keep alligators in their bathtubs so why not this?

  • "If you don't catch on to their games quick enough they'll get annoyed and kick your ass."

  • I've always been fascinated with cats. I've always wanted to see a savannah sometime in the future. I hear they're a very interesting breed and sometimes a bit scary with the regular noises they make. Either way, I want to see one up close!

  • My cat is F5-F7 with a black and white coat due to breeding, some Savannah bred with a normal moggie it seems. He is very strong and friendly, never once scratched anybody. He is similar but he has health issues it seems, it maybe something to do with the breed. We never knew how mixed he was when we got him.

  • Half the world is starving while the affluent breed cats.

  • Great point. All cat breeders and lovers should donate their cats to third world countries for food. I bet they'd make tasty kebabs. Who's first?

  • so now America cant even leave nature alone? ONly AMERICA would come up with some stupid idea like this to make $22.000 on a Cat!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!WHY AMERICA WHY CANT YOU LEAVE ANYTHING ALONE IN PEACE WHYYYY!!!!

  • this breed started in Africa. But if you do want to see how Americans have messed with nature, watch the documentary "Controlling our food"

  • @Kyocus

I know think iv seen it... yes that breed was started in Africa by American scientists

  • I was unaware that the breed was started by American scientists. I would have to check to see if that's true or not. The average American isn't necessarily to blame here though, I think awareness is important in getting people to start taking notice to what is wrong.

  • @Kyocus

    agreed brutha!

  • Again, America isn't the only country that does these things.

  • I didn't post a biased comment, I was posting against one. I simply came to admire the cats. I was replying to Ziduni's comment, and when replying I even said that I would have to check if, in fact, it was true or not that American scientists where responsible "as he claimed". I think they are beautiful, and don't see the problem with trying to preserve an endangered species in a domesticated fashion.

  • @Kyocus

    You said:

"I think they are beautiful, and don't see the problem with trying to preserve an endangered species in a domesticated fashion."

Sure, they are beautiful. The problem is this - these breeders (and the supporters of them) aren't preserving an endangered species, they are replacing an endangered species with a mutated domesticated species that is several genomes displaced from the endangered species. There IS a difference.

  • @iamameatpopsicle1

By "replacing" are you insinuating that the breeders are releasing the cats into the wild, and taking over the habitat of the original species? Of coarse you aren't, but if you feel so strongly about the subject, then go help the original species. The original genes where propagated by breeding, so yes in a way, the species is being preserved in the new Cat breed.

  • ugh, you self-righteous people are so annoying and so naive. it's actually not that strange of an idea to make "hybrid" cats, considering the fact that ALL DOMESTIC CATS ARE DERIVED FROM AFRICAN WILDCATS. The idea is hardly American. These people are just putting a little "wild" back into the breed.

  • It's not just America that is doing these things, plenty of breeders fromoutside the country are as well. Get your facts straight before posting a biased comment.

  • I think I have one!!! He's amazing,, But Like a child,, lol,, Just jumps from the floor to the top of the fridge,, Walks on,,his harness outside,, He Love's water,,,, Trys to get in the shower with me lol walks across the outside of the tub!! Fetche's the ball like a dog,,,,, And runs and jumps every were ,, I gave him his Rabie's shot's,, he lost major weight!!,, Just getting it back now,, I think I have his diet down now,, Beautiful cat's,, But Mine is pure Orange??

  • Not legal to own a cat? Man, the states sure suck!

  • i am going to get one!!!! if i do though, i am videotaping it when i do get the savannah and i will show my cat amber and the savannah cat :) i might have 2 cats!!! its a dream come true if i get one! i have always wanted one and wanted two cats

  • lol ''gimme a kiss?'' *cat runs away*

  • I actually have a savannah cat and i have had him for 8 years.

I live in Alberta, Canada and mine is 4th generation.

This literally is a once in a lifetime cat.

Once you have one, you will never have another cat like it.

    They are very intelligent.

My cat actually learned how to open doors on his own because of his lengthy body and he stretches up and pulls the handle down and opens the door!

    It's very funny.

He is very playful and insane!

Everyone who comes over is amazed at him.

    I Love Him =)

  • @Stefy828 when i move out of my house im getting a savannah how are they?

  • @lovehatefu

At the beginning, they are such a hassle because they are like no other cat.

They need to have specific cat food because of their digestive system.

But eventually you get used to them and they become the most amazing cats ever.

  • @lovehatefu They are hard to train at first because they are such wile animals but after they are such amazing animals.

  • @Stefy828

    Uhhh......

My two domestic shorthair tabbies can open doors.....that's not anything amazing.

Most people who own Savannahs have NO CLUE the kind of care they need - and it is detrimental to the Servals population. A wild animal is just that - WILD. Not ment to be some assholes private house pet.

If you want a cat that looks wild, get an Ocicat. Or better yet, ADOPT A HOMELESS ANIMAL FROM A FUCKING SHELTER.

  • @PredatorHuntress666 - calm down...people who are spending that kind of money normally look into the animal they are getting. as well breeders dont just sell to anyone.

  • @Stefy828 how the hell do u get one?

  • @lazyj432 I got mine from some lady on London, Ontario in Canada.

  • @Stefy828 how much do they cost?

  • @LuigiAkAfido Mine was around $1400

  • @Stefy828 Any cat can be trained. It's just most people don't take the time. All 4 of my cats are trained to do all sorts of neat thing and I got all but 1 of them from the humane society.
