we read 'Dead Poets Society' in high school, which was our favorite book we read, so our teacher rented the movie for us to watch and we had a little party. Then for our senior slideshow, they had 'The World You Love' and it was the part where it started with pictures from our freshman year, and went all the way through junior year, so it was really neat seeing two things that bring back some very good memories put togther. Brava!

I got my clips from the dvd. Google "dvd ripping tutorial" and click the first site that comes up -- should be "Tutorial by Elliot Back." That's how I learned to do it.

Ok. Watching it again, I'll give you a better review. I thought the curtain closing thing was great. Like MysticTwilight said, it was a nice metaphor. The song goes perfectly with the movie. It just wowed me. The clips you used match the lyrics and everything. I love it.

Oooh, Steph. That was just gorgeous. Perfect. The music, the tone, the editing... I especially loved the closing of the curtains (nice little metaphor there) and the way the end seemed to show each of the boys' thoughts and 'memories' as they stood on the desks. Breathtaking vid, lovely job.
