@DenverSabre He was firing it before he threw it. Its pretty obvious that he lets go of the gun to pull the spring back, at which point the front of the gun should have fallen off if they were trying to "rig" the shot. The plastic $25 dollar guns are just that cheap that putting any sort of force on them, in this case bob putting some strain on the gun in the process of throwing it, will tear them apart. Trust me, I used to own one before upgrading to a real airsoft gun.
