also, the title of this video is very misleading. they were arrested for criminal trespassing. only 1 of them closed their account, none of the others even tried. and not all of them were account holders at citibank either. the title should be corrected so that more people do not become misinformed.
Start withdrawing your cash from ATMS. Get cash back on your debit transactions. Banks make interest EVERY SECOND on EVERY CENT. Reduce that amount with every purchase. there is a limit how many savings withdraws/transactions that are FEE FREE. Call your bank, ask them how many free Savings withdraws in a month. If you move your savings to your checking that counts as one as well. BEFORE you close your account get out as much as you CAN. they are making less money and they don’t even know it.
Talk to your new Credit Union/Community Bank about transferring any credit cards, personal, auto, house and bizness loans to them. Many will be happy to do just that. Why not give them the interest. How much are you paying every day to service your loan?
Peacefully and individually Go to the BANK and close your account. The point is to get your account closed quickly so as to STOP Making Them Money.
Be prepared to be stalled. They are thinking they are still making money on you. Pre withdraw the bulk of it, they have less of it.

These people were not arrested for taking money out of the bank, they actually occupied it. They were in the bank and one by one each of them they gave speeches while holding up signs. I support the occupy movement; however you just don’t walk into someone's place of business holding up banners and signs and giving speeches without asking permission first. It’s not public property. You have to leave when asked, and refusing to do so is trespassing. In New York State it is anyway.

1.Open your new account first. Choose your Credit Union or Community Bank carefully. How community minded are they?
2.Make sure to LEAVE money in bank checking accounts for any un-cleared transactions.
3.Make loan payments on time.
The point is to Stop Making Them any more Money. You will be pay large fees if you don’t pay your loans or bounce your check book.

If you don't want people at your location you ask them to leave and then LET them. You don't lock them inside, let alone drag them back in.

i agree with the protest but why do we blame cops they're just doing their jobs just to keep peace tat are not part of the protest PS we do need reform but not in violence
