  • Personally I like when it repeats the Almond Joy jingle because that one's so rockin' I wanna hear it again. It's like you knew and did it just for me :D

  • It's YouTube. Stop being so judgmental. Better yet; stop being so mental. I like it. The poster was having some fun, as we are all having fun watching. There's nothing wrong w/ personal expression. Edit to your heart's content,NelnetDude.

  • Thank you, boneyard & tigerman, for that back & forth, cause now I know some of the history of Rockapella. I agree with Taterzz & kpatrickb: The editing sucks, being that this is one continuous video, not clips.

  • Somebody forgot "the best part of waking up upon" editing this video. Man! Holy $&!^ that was terrible editing.

  • Man. That video editing was classic! haha.

  • Your editing skills suck donkey balls!

  • Awwww! I wanted to hear "Long Cool Woman"! And you cut the video! You evil person, you! (Sings to himself: "OOOOHH A way mom mom weeyayyy - Saturday night I was downtown/Workin' for the FBI . . . etc")

  • @tigerman4

Baloney. It's been public knowledge for a long time that Rockapella intentionally looked for a vocal percussionist, and Sean himself spearheaded the effort. Sean was in the group a whole 5 years before he retired. Do you just make this stuff up? lol

  • I'd let someone pee in my coffee if they got Rockapella to come sing at my birthday party.

  • thanks for the footage. for the record, i really don't mind the visual part of the editing, but were you really trying to replay things over and over or was that a lack of attention to detail? this is not a rhetorical question btw. if you still read comments id like to know.

  • I loved this jingle!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I love the blonde guy's voice.

  • I can't wait until these guys come to Toronto

  • @TiH24aL I dont believe they will ever come to Toronto. barely anyone has heard of these guys here in canada. which is a HUGE shame. They did go to Montreal once though.

  • Hahaha. "And sensing a source of compensation, we quickly obliged."

  • Who in the world edited this? Yikes...

  • Haha! That's great! I loved hearing all those commercial jingles!

  • What a voice!! Had no idea they did that NBC song!

  • Art so powerful, it transcends it's former commercial purpose. Talk about subversion! Anyone knows the original story/movie "Rollerball"? We've got the same happening here! Corpororate's GO HOME !!!!

  • Rockapella Rocks.. Acapella !!!!

  • I already loved Dr. Pepper but now I like it even more!

  • I remember that commercial! I just never knew they sang it XD

    They're awesome!

  • 2:10 ... LOOOOOOOOOVE the modulation ... 2:17 - Milk Chocolate! ... 3:19 -Matt Lauer!

  • lol :52

Scott is so awesome! I watched that one part like 17 times haha!

  • Carmen Santiago! ¿Dónde en el Brasil es Carmen Santiago? 5 minute mark, Preparation H = good stuff.

  • Alright, I was skeptic that anyone could replace Barry Carl...

    But that guy's awesome too.

  • Yeah, but they have completly different styles. Barry was more of a background singer than they made George. But Barry still had the lower voice!

  • folgers is probably going to be the staple that rockapella will always be most known about. especially for casual fans like me, whether they like it or not. it's a damn good jingle tho. always brings a smile to my face and makes me crave some coffee. cept then i got to starbucks instead of making me some folgers.

  • Actually I think they will >= known for Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego.

  • Carmen Santiago, Folgers and Coca Cola are the 3 big ones

  • Carmen Sandiego

  • dude... this would have been ok if you wouldnt have repeated so much

  • Chewy Coconut?....good song....

  • what did you DO to the video? you might as well not even post it. douche.

  • The best part of... this video starts at 6:47

  • An amazing performance by Rockapella, but the editing could've been done better.

  • Folgers.... FOR THE WIN!

  • Lol you gotta admit, the Preparation H song was hilarious though =]

  • Stupid editing. You ruined this video.

  • I agree. Shouldn't have messed with an already perfect video. It made no sense fading out and back into the same part of the video. Annoying. But GREAT singing can't screw that up!:)

  • thanks for posting this, its great, is there anyway for me to get the raw footage?

  • why waste your time ruining a great sequence with editing that was done COMPLETELY retardedly and not needed at all... dumbass

  • Oh yeah, fade to the same scene. Editing is kind of unnecessary here.

  • That was the coolest thing ever.

    Of all time.

  • the fuck is with this stupid editing shit? stop trying to be artsy with a video clip that is not a compilation, but one entire video.

    gtfo my youtube

  • I don't know what it is but whenever they move together it's really sexy...

  • Yeah. I'm seeing them Saturday night! yeah. I'm so beyond words excited!

  • oh, I just love this group Rockapella just love them

  • Rocapella is the best, gotta love them, brings back memories

  • X3 I love these guys <3 Awesome stuff!

  • i like the Dr. Pepper one... that one is good!!!

  • Holy freaking amazing!

  • I LOVE ROCKAPELLA!!!! This is amazing! You got all the jingles!! yes!

  • LOL 5:54

  • This is some nice editing, but I could live without all the repetition.

  • damn now I want an Almond Joy!

  • Rockapella is and has always been dedicated to two things. Music, and entertainment. They make great music every night, and they're one of the most entertaining acts out there. GO SEE THEM LIVE. They really are an amazing group.

  • Regardless of their personnel, Rockapella sings and performs their butts off night after night. Whether you like the new material or members, great music is great music.

  • These guys rock.....beautiful music.

  • I just saw them this past weekend and they were amazing!!

  • Baldi is such a pimp

  • I saw them earlier in the year and they were AMAZING. like... omg.

  • Damn now I want a Dr. Pepper.

  • these guys r totally awesome! i saw them live a few days ago. they really rock! lol

  • I think I'm going to go have a bar of Almond Joy with a cup of Folgers coffee. lol

  • Oh God, they're just so great..

I really enjoyed the Folgers and NBC commercials, and the last thingy ;)

    Scott is cute!!

  • omg. this made me laugh so hard. i love those guys no matter what they do.

  • Wow. I don't think there's a single guy in the group from the last time I saw them.

Still like the a capella stuff, though.

  • Comment removed

  • Well, technically none of the original members are left, but Scott Leonard is the only guy left from the days of Carmen Sandiego (unless you count Jeff Thatcher, the beatboxer, who joined in the last season)

  • what are you talking about. none of these guys are from the orginal rockapella. but jeff and scott have been in it since the early 90's

  • No, actually Barry was the second bass singer. The first guy was only there for like a year, or less, but he did not found Rockapella.

  • actually there were 2 bass singers before Barry Carl.

David Stix was there for a year

Charlie Evett was there for the 2nd year.

  • here are your original members. 1)Steve Keys 2)Sean Altman 3)Elliot Kerman 4)David Stix David Stix left and was replaced with Charlie Evett then Evett left and was replaced with Barry Carl. then Steve Keys left and was replaced with Scott Leonard Sean Altman left and was replaced with Kevin Wright. Jeff Thatcher joined Barry Carl left and was replaced with George Baldi III and then Elliot left and was replaced with John K Brown. tah dah
  • Jeff came before Kevin

  • yes Jeff came before Kevin , Jeff is probably the reason Sean Altman left to be honest , Sean wasn't there much longer after Jeff joined.

  • Comment removed

  • @jraddd

Sean left shortly after Jeff joined the group , he did not like the direction the group was taking , adding a drum machine was not what he wanted for his acapella group.

  • @tigerman4

Again, you are incorrect. Sean left for completely other reasons,

  • @tigerman4 Jeff batcher was always with them since the beggining..Stil would like to know why the other guy left??

  • @boneyard009 ...sorry but you are wrong....the original group started in 1986 , Jeff didnt join the group until 1993 , Sean left in 1996 and Kevin Wright took his place. , , the original line up was as follows.

Steve Keyes,Sean Altman,Elliot Kerman and David Stix ,...David left after 1 year and Charlie Evett took his place...Charlie left after 1 year and Barry Carl took his place.....tah dah

  • @tigerman4 Doubt it, maybe the did start off in 1986, but they alway had the one guy playing drumbs and beats from out of his mouth..Isnt that Jeff???? kind of confused here cause i dont hear the name od Sean anywhere when the are introduce on a video back in 2007 or something.....

  • @boneyard009 Jeff didnt appear on a CD until 1994 (vocobeat) and he didnt appear on a USA cd until 1995 (primer) but as far as the original group , they were founded in 1986 and Jeff wasnt part of it 3 cds were released in Japan (TO NY , FROM NY and BASH) and Jeff was not on them period , as he wasnt part of the group then , Jeff wasnt even on (Carmen sandiego 1992) (do it acapella 1990) and (Zappas Universe 1991)(modern acapella 1992) , WIKI it if you have to, I own every cd they made sheesh

  • @tigerman4

You are incorrect. Sean and Jeff are good friends. Jeff had nothing to do with Sean leaving.

  • so, did they actually do almond joy commercials? cause i dont remember them. and did they do the theme song for the today show?

  • leonard is such a ham. it's great

  • Love Rockapella. Ah - the Al Roker song got stuck in my head. Same with the Doctor Pepper one =)

  • why does it go backwards on transitions and repeat what i just watched? good live video other than that

  • good call.

  • They talk about singing for hire like there's something wrong with it.

  • well there's a difference between singing and getting paid for your creation and writing and singing a song to sell a specific third product. That would be selling out. Still good art can be found in the most unlikely places, as their Folger's diddy proves.

  • where's the Budweiser part?

tried to find it but couldn't O.o

am I just going crazy? I'm sure it's on this video...

  • haha...it's at the other video...the "Small world" one, at the end

  • And greetings to Arie luyendijk ( Indy 500)

  • Great voice's greetings from a fan from the Netherlands

  • Ringworm's here tonight!

  • the folgers is the bomb!!

  • You repeated the 'weatherman' skit.

  • I love the folgers song.. Its funny but I do. I used to sing it ALL the time.

  • I'm not sure if I'm right or not but didn't they sing the beginning theme song to the sitcom "Growing Pains"?

  • Well, according to Wikipedia, they did the theme for seasons 6 and 7

  • Do it Rockapella!!!

    Sing the almond joy song

  • (SINGING)

    Chewy, Chewy Coconut,

    ALMOND JOOOOOY

  • Near the end.. Scott said something about "good to the last drop" before singing Folgers. Too bad "good to the last drop" is the tagline for Maxwell House! WOOPS

  • The video editing/transitions annoy me to no end

  • My apologies. You certainly annoy easily. I suggest you check out videos from others to be less annoyed.

  • But I do admit the editing is quite sloppy! (Sorry) Best wishes!!

  • yum yum

  • Scott's run at 1:39 is awesome...

  • I MISS BARRY TOO!!!!! :(

  • Yeah I miss Barry too :( !!!!!!!

  • do u mean they never cease to amaze u? lol. cease means to stop.

  • barry carl!! i miss him

  • These guys are just amazing. They cease to amaze me.
