Creepy Scary Irish Ghost Or Banshee On Halloween

i didnt see her, only heard her. it was something i had never heard before, i got really creeped out to the point where i was like, "okayyy, im out of hereeee." and went straight to my room. it happend in my living room. oh yeah, i forgot to mention i live in orlando, florida. so yeah it can happen in other places other than Ireland. i found out it was a banshee when i told a priest about my story, and he told me the name and story of the banshee. after hearing about that, there is eternal life.

let me start off by saying the banshee is REAL!! i heard it myself. she wheeped and wheeped for quite some time, on and off ofcourse. it was about 2:30am in the morning when everyone in my house was asleep, i was the only one awake. i was watching tv and the volume was pretty low, when i heard this roaring sound, beast-like, sounding like it entered my garage where my dog sleeps at. my dog started to make this little barking sound like she was scared. minutes later she wheeped in front of me.

When i was young i was on a road trip w/ my grandma & mom, & we stayed at a hotel in the middle of nowhere. I didn't know wth a Banshee was at the time (thats what my mom called it), but we heard it scream from the middle of our room. One of the creepiest things ever heard in my life. I also saw a lady appear on my wall & scream when was in 1st/2nd grade, which my mom heard from the next room (idk if that was one too? but that ghost traumatised me for life. bitch lol). Noone died either time.

The Banshee is supposedly an ancient Celtic spirit. She only collects the souls of people with O and Mc or Mac at the beginning of their name, as they would be direct decedents of the ancient clans. She is supposed to carry a comb and while she cries she combs her long grey hair. Hearing the cry means someone close will die within 4 days. To see her is dangerous for you. Because if you make eye contact she will throw her comb at you and it will take your soul .. :)

Rarely seen but heard, her mourning call is often given at night when someone is about to die. Banshee are commonly decipted as having long, fair hair which they comb with a silver comb. If one is to see such a comb, it is suggested not to pick it up or that person might be spirited away. Though to some the comb is simply a gift to someone they love or feel is important.

I'm Irish, my dad heard a banshee when his neighbor died. My dad didn't die so the bullshit that you die if you hear her is bull. Personally I don't even believe in it all, but my dads 12 brothers and sister and my grandparents say they all heard her. It's an interesting subject anyway, the most scariest ghost I've heard of.

Apparently when my Dad was 5 his neighbour (who gave them the land to build there home on) died and at around 4 in the morning they heard a cry from the banshee north of the house.
