brian and roger were top notch here. I got to see them in 2006 in Chicago and holy shit I thought I was gonna die! it was the most amazing experience of my life.
I think Freddie would be absolutely overwhelmed and incredibly touched by the way Roger and Brian have "taken care" of his mother over the years. She must feel so close to them.
dave Grohl is a god replacement- he's rocked with some of the bst musicians around including Paul Mccartney Foo FIhgters, and more and hes multi talented as adrummer and guitar player
This is so awesome. Queen finally got the credit from the American music "establishment" that they so truly deserve. What a classy ceremony.... Thanks to Taylor and Dave for their hommage to Queen.
To typhoon792: the singer is Dave Grohl. May has played with him quite a few times since the Hall of Fame show so he must think differently than you. Nobody can pull off Mercury but Grohl is badass ...surprised you don't know who that is.
Who's the fucking idiot singer? He was literally choking the song. If I were Brian May, I'd take a swing with my guitar at him. Singing like an angry fucker really capture the spirit, yeah, RIGHT ON! To be honest, I hate almost everybody who tries to sing what Freddie did but this guy didn't even try to capture the spirit or maybe just fucking sucks. SHIT, that was irritating.
yeah dave and everybody can be great but we have to take in mind that Mercury did this in the 70´s and 80´s so Freddie along with other amazing artists of that era shaped the stage for the ones that came after....there is nothing new or innovative about current acts...that is why Freddies precense is sooooooo much more missed
this is awsome! i know no one could ever replace freddie but dave and taylor adds that electric back in to queen! they should perform all the time!! ive watched this video like 20 times...AWSOME!!!
Freddie was the striking image of his mum; it's a bit overwhelming hearing the words passed, and away - along with Freddie, and Mercury. **Sigh....he still loves on.

its dissapointing that john deacon didnt show up. i know the music industry didnt treat him with respect but at the same time the music industry gave him provided him wit riches and the highest of all recognition the be a hall of famer. suck it up john should had been there at least for Freddie and his mom Jer what an ass!!!!!!
hm queen,go choice, anyone else agree, look how many people they influenced.I'm not going to say anything bad about Freddy mercury, except that he went away way too quick.
you are really welcome and i'm glad you like it, it was a wonderful day here in new york, i stand outside for hours in front of the waldorf astoria and i didn't have a glimpe of the band but i make new friends that day. cheers.
Who the hell is this singer? He is 100x better than that scrub Paul Rodgers... Who, may I add, is gone!!!!!! R.I.P. Freddie the Great and Rock on Queen!!!
They rocked the house! And I respect Dave Grohl more for the things he said about Queen and Freddie in the beginning. Very well said too. Too bad Queen will never be the same without Freddie (or John) again...
The Beach Boys had the same problem as Queen during their long hit-making career as well by never receiving any Grammy awards. Crappy rap music and the other garbage out now gets awards left and right but the Beach Boys and Queen have been consistently overlooked, despite being fantastic.
I just love how Dave Marsh and his starfucking colleages run down Queen like nobodies yet it is not until Mercury's death that they suddenly put them in the rock 'n' roll hall of fame.
By the way, THE HOF is a joke. Queen and the Foo Fighters are not.
dave grohl... had great success with foo fighters, and especially with Nirvana...but he still doesn't look right playing next to brian may and roger taylor...even though the song sounded great...
why didn´t john deacon show up??? why seems this blond guy (not roger) seems to be on drugs when he tries to induct queen in the rrhof. so sweet that freddies mum was there. freddie we miss you...
He hated the music industry (or the people in it anyway!) and when Freddy died he left to be an artist (i think) and is now a bit of a recluse. Apparantly he has given Brian and Roger his blessing for the tour with Paul Rodgers, even though he wants no part of it! Shame.
Freddie always did like his piece of whomever--- I know of no one else who kept their previous relationships as members of the household like he did--- gardener,, cook, friend, . . .
two drummers!!!!!
fuckin kickass

The Grammys are a joke. They hand them out like candy nowadays. Doesn't mean anything to have one.
Queen with Freddie were better than ANY top talent today. The music industry is a joke.
