  • @imjustrockinaround i'm glad you like it,, here a fan sice 1976,, check my other videos.

  • @mermaytaydea Ok thanks

  • THE BASS PLAYER IS MY UCLES FRIEND STEVE !!!!!!!!! :) STEVE BARNACLE

  • can I just be that guy that is playing the drums with Roger Taylor?

  • ¡Pinche honor de tocar con Queen!

Con razón van desfasados. Yo me orinaría de la emoción.

    Esto sí es música.

  • brian and roger were top notch here. I got to see them in 2006 in Chicago and holy shit I thought I was gonna die! it was the most amazing experience of my life.

  • I think Freddie would be absolutely overwhelmed and incredibly touched by the way Roger and Brian have "taken care" of his mother over the years. She must feel so close to them.

  • I understand John's wish to retire - and respect it. But in all honesty, I think he should have shown up for this ceremony.

  • Hell of a... Extremely fucvking great! Rock 'n' Roll!!!

  • hazme un hijo, dave gohl

  • I wish John had come to their induction. I know that he had retired..

  • jesus ... verry good ... ho ever is this singer

  • Thanks for the reply... ive added your channel.. there is no band remotley like Queen today... !!

  • smokin'!!! thanks for posting..

  • @MadTypist3 you are really welcome, i invite you to check my other videos, cheers and keep the QUEEN alive

  • @mermaytaydea excellent, thank you!!

  • never saw this before, thanks for posting! definitely a well deserved recognition and they can still rock the shit out of that awesome song!

  • dave Grohl is a god replacement- he's rocked with some of the bst musicians around including Paul Mccartney Foo FIhgters, and more and hes multi talented as adrummer and guitar player

  • Not sure if yo are allowed to swear here....but that version of Tie Yer Mama FUCKIN ROCKED!! CAn't believe I have never seen it before.

Who is the 2nd drummer? Looked a tad like Kurt in the hair?

    thanks!

  • This is so awesome. Queen finally got the credit from the American music "establishment" that they so truly deserve. What a classy ceremony.... Thanks to Taylor and Dave for their hommage to Queen.

  • Wonderful tribute

  • Brian & Roger ROCKS!!!!!!!! Freddie, Brian, Roger & John are THE GREATEST MUSICIANS!!!!!

  • GOD SAVE THE QUEEN !

  • To typhoon792: the singer is Dave Grohl. May has played with him quite a few times since the Hall of Fame show so he must think differently than you. Nobody can pull off Mercury but Grohl is badass ...surprised you don't know who that is.

  • EPIC WIN

  • THIS BAND IS THE BEST!!

The presence of Freddie... i miss that!!!

tHIS band showed us real music!!!!!

  • yeah dave and everybody can be great but we have to take in mind that Mercury did this in the 70´s and 80´s so Freddie along with other amazing artists of that era shaped the stage for the ones that came after....there is nothing new or innovative about current acts...that is why Freddies precense is sooooooo much more missed

  • The Grammys are a joke. They hand them out like candy nowadays. Doesn't mean anything to have one.

Queen with Freddie were better than ANY top talent today. The music industry is a joke.

  • candy is delicious

  • You can't call it music anymore nowadays..

They all make it with computers and DJ's and mixing and stuff...

Ever heard some rockbands of today Live?... Tssshh

We need a real rock group like in the 70's and 80's...Like Queen!

  • this is awsome! i know no one could ever replace freddie but dave and taylor adds that electric back in to queen! they should perform all the time!! ive watched this video like 20 times...AWSOME!!!

  • Freddie was the striking image of his mum; it's a bit overwhelming hearing the words passed, and away - along with Freddie, and Mercury. **Sigh....he still loves on.

  • I've never seen this ... brilliant

  • Ya gotta love it!! Jer picks up the award for Freddie and Queen goes on to play Tie Your Mother Down; hope Brian and Roger saw the humor in this.

  • I never thought of it that way but now you say it is one "bad segway". LOL

But as seeing this queen truly deserved this R&RHF induction. Queen were a "Kind of magic" that will always live on.

  • hm queen,go choice, anyone else agree, look how many people they influenced.I'm not going to say anything bad about Freddy mercury, except that he went away way too quick.

  • is john paul jones playing the bass

  • Thank you for this wonderful ul...i started to listen to queen then i was 10 around 20 years ago and i still love them:)

Best band ever and best singer.

    R.I.P Freddy Mercury

  • Where is John Deacon?

  • John Deacon is retired. If you search here on tube you´ll find some newly taken picture of him and his family tough.

  • Thank you for sharing this marvelous video with us who didn´t have the opertunity too look at the award on tv.

    Love from Sweden.

  • you are really welcome and i'm glad you like it, it was a wonderful day here in new york, i stand outside for hours in front of the waldorf astoria and i didn't have a glimpe of the band but i make new friends that day. cheers.

  • This was such an awesome performance......Love the expression on Taylors face.

Brian May one of the best. And Dave Grohl the link that brought Nirvana too what mainstream America came to know.

  • Freddie's mother is beautiful.

  • wow could the singer get anymore words wrong?!

  • Who the hell is this singer? He is 100x better than that scrub Paul Rodgers... Who, may I add, is gone!!!!!! R.I.P. Freddie the Great and Rock on Queen!!!

  • dave grohl from the foo fighters

  • Thank you.

  • @mermaytaydea and he played drums in one the greatest grunge bands Nirvana

  • what about john deacon???????????

  • Awesome :D

  • John Deacon...!

  • i almost cryed watching this xD...queen is the king of rock.

good singing there by the way

  • favoloso!!!!

  • Dave grohl looks like a psycho in this vid compared to roger taylor

  • wow freddys mum is tiny!!!

  • god jul

  • god jul

  • They should have just called it a day after Made In Heaven

  • was that Bono at 4:54?

  • I thought so too! It also looked like Britany Spears got up to take a photo of Brian during his acceptance speech?

  • yes

  • wowzers

    never seen that

dave grohl rules , love that guy

  • was grohl in this vid still in nirvana or already in foo fighters??

  • foo fighter, this was in 2001 and kurt cobain died in 1994.

  • They rocked the house! And I respect Dave Grohl more for the things he said about Queen and Freddie in the beginning. Very well said too. Too bad Queen will never be the same without Freddie (or John) again...

    XXXXX QUEEN XXXXX

  • mitico..

    but italian subtitles

  • Dave Grohl is a HUGE talent! He tottaly deserved to present this award for Queen and for Freddie (who's irreplaceable).

  • Singer is coked out did you guys see the way he was chewing that gum?

  • I can't hold back the tears when Freddie's mother accepts the award on his behalf. I miss him so much. RIP Freddie

  • Who was the guy speaking at the very beginning?

  • The Beach Boys had the same problem as Queen during their long hit-making career as well by never receiving any Grammy awards. Crappy rap music and the other garbage out now gets awards left and right but the Beach Boys and Queen have been consistently overlooked, despite being fantastic.

  • The Grammy's never gave one of the greatest rock acts of all-time a Grammy, yet they gave one to Milli Vanilli.

    SHAME, SHAME, SHAME!!!!!!!!

  • whos milli vanilli

  • it's probably best no one knows

  • @Strompy82 They didnt give one to Led Zeppelin either

  • I just love how Dave Marsh and his starfucking colleages run down Queen like nobodies yet it is not until Mercury's death that they suddenly put them in the rock 'n' roll hall of fame.

By the way, THE HOF is a joke. Queen and the Foo Fighters are not.

  • dave grohl... had great success with foo fighters, and especially with Nirvana...but he still doesn't look right playing next to brian may and roger taylor...even though the song sounded great...

  • what the hell is that drumming from that blond guy(not roger!!!)from the foo fighters i think he's drunk or something like a drug addict

  • That's Taylor Hawkins from the Foo Fighters - he's always like that, and he's a damn good drummer - one of the best around today.

  • yep .. that's true .. good for him to be with roger ..

  • Hawkins is a huge fan of Queen. It's making his dreams come true, that's the face and energy of a hapy man, not drugs.

  • why didn´t john deacon show up??? why seems this blond guy (not roger) seems to be on drugs when he tries to induct queen in the rrhof. so sweet that freddies mum was there. freddie we miss you...

  • He hated the music industry (or the people in it anyway!) and when Freddy died he left to be an artist (i think) and is now a bit of a recluse. Apparantly he has given Brian and Roger his blessing for the tour with Paul Rodgers, even though he wants no part of it! Shame.

  • it's not that he hated the music industry, he just wanted to spend more time with his family, but i think the main cause is Freddie's death.

  • RIp Freddie

  • AWESOME!!!

  • IM JUST A PEACE LOVIN GUY !

no one can say that like freddie XD

  • agreed!! :))

  • Freddie always did like his piece of whomever--- I know of no one else who kept their previous relationships as members of the household like he did--- gardener,, cook, friend, . . .

  • holy words!

  • IM JUST A PEACE LOVIN GUY !

no one can say that like freddie XD

  • long live the queen..godbless Dr.May and Rog

  • thank u so muchh for posting this..turns me in tears when the mum of Freddie recvd son's award..what a great memory..thank u again

  • you are really welcome.

  • They are the best!
