  • Ron Paul 2012. Vote for Peace and Freedom

  • i wonder if this user (whitehouse) has videos of abraham lincolns assassination

  • @101greengiant Of course they do, what kind of person wouldn't have live-recorded videos of Honest Abe getting shot from the mid 1800's? If not they should have pictures of it on their iPhone.

  • He's a cool guy but he's just another puppet working for the bad guys :(

  • what the hell is that secret service doing on his phone

  • @Buttnut105 Your name is buttnut, excuse me if i dont take you seriously

  • Not one of those ridiculous republicans can hold a candle to Obama! Obama 2012!!!!!

  • another proof that presidents are damm good actors, all in one take.

  • @ShidoMusic Food for thought, in order to become president you kinda need to be good at: 1. public speaking 2. Keeping calm 3. Memorizing lines/speeches 4. remaining diplomatic 5. refrain from lashing out from emotional distress 6. being black. Obama 2012

  • he did that in one take

  • "No, but my ears are really that big" lol

  • Obama is such a cool guy.

  • He's good at acting. A little too good -.-'

  • @IneffableLifestyle if he isn't re-elected, he should try acting, that was too freaking good

  • I think Barak Obama comes off as a really nice guy, shame his polices generally stink.

  • ron paul is the REAL man

  • I'd like this more if Obama wasn't such a terrible president. Frankly if he's reelected, it'll be by people who haven't got a clue about anything he's done. The words keystone, solyndra, fast & furious, deficit, bailout, and Libya should be in every voters vocabulary before they accidentally put Barry back in office.

  • @Buttnut105 dont worry he doesn't have a shot in hell

  • @Buttnut105 keystone - not stopped, postponed so experts can look into it|Fast&furious - the same outcome would of happened with any president | Deficit - had a surplus before bush lost us trillions. GWD didnt put 2 wars on the budget, which hid so more | Bailout - TARP the largest part of the bailout was passed before he came into office. The majority of which, has been paid back

Libya - toppled a dictator without loosing a single american life, it was handled so much better than Iraq and Iran

  • @KurtVachon He stopped keystone to push his political agenda and blamed republicans for it. Don't try to equivocate here either; he's spent more money than any president in modern history. Fast and the Furious is on his head as is Solyndra. He's taken so much out of Medicare for Obamacare, which will be repealed. 12 million more people on food stamps. Whatever happened to "CHANGE"?

  • @Buttnut105 you're misguided I'm afraid. Been listenin' too much to Fox? Although I'm disappointed in Obama for being another corporate sell-out the arguments you propose are mostly false. By highlighting things like Solyndra you also highlight your lack of knowledge about how the world works. These things happen all the time and is of no fault to the president.

  • @HanSomKan1 Somebody's been watching too much CNN and it's you that doesn't know how the world works to just excuse Obama's shortcomings by either blaming Bush (like that's never been done) and telling me I'm misguided or any president would've done what he's done. If Obama's defense is anything like yours, there's thankfully an even better chance he won't get reelected.

  • @Buttnut105 blaming bush? who sent the troops into iraq? who skyrocketed the national debt when he came into office with a surplus? who oversaw job losses of over 700 thousand a month? you are in deep deep denial!

  • @wrathofme03 He criticized Bush for detaining citizens then he goes and signs a bill allowing him to do just that, even indefinitely; criticized him again for illegally wiretapping an Islamic charity, then when he gets in office his justice department takes the side of Bush; then he goes into Libya w/o congressional approval. 81 of 82 polls in 2010 show that Americans want to repeal Obamacare; 12 million more people on food stamps; etc. etc. etc. No my friend, it is you that's in deep denial.

  • all politicians are actors ;)

  • obama is the fucken man

  • too bad obama is a bastard

  • @MrNerdOfHalo Any American would know that. We were a land of Liberal Republicans, This has faded away. Our constitution is not being followed! Our Presidents feel more like Dictators now a days "Really don't care if other people agree with this statement". When i say that of course i'm talking economy wise. It's my personal opinion that these Presidents our Making our country terrible. Not the American people, I say this because i'm sick of seeing comments like yours.

  • Obama seems so laid back.

  • Our sitting president and our next president!

  • ahaha this is great

  • 0:52-0:59 Answer yer telephone!!!

  • Who thinks I will be censored if I wrote: The American health system is a complete joke, your economy is down the drain and you are still in a recession. I'm not blaming anybody for this exempt George Bush Jnr because he is a complete fuck face who thought he could do anything that he wanted. The world especially the US of A needs to thinking that because Obama is doing nothing it is his fault. Maybe if you didn't have a fucked up opposition that opposes a Health reform things might get done!

  • a room full of really smart people.

  • HEY HE CANT DO THAT! JUST CUZ HES PRESIDENT HE CANT MAKE PEOPLE DO THAT. ABUSING HIS POWER WHY ISNT THIS BIG NEWS!?

  • @itsgordonyadigg relax it's a joke.. it's made so people can laugh and yes any president can order those types of things to the general but usually they stay proffessional and gentlemen but do they hae the authority yes do they use it certainly no so relax they are just kidding

  • @MrChamouko I was just kidding lmao

  • I'll admit that my opinion on President Obama at this point is about 50-50; he's supported a lot of things I agree with, but he's also made quite a few bad decisions that are very unnecessary. That being said, I still respect him and so many other presidents for the constant harrowing stress that they have to put up with on a daily basis, regardless of whether I agree with their views and policies or not.

  • @pln9fos You get a positive vote for not being a Partisan Asshole. +1.

  • @Holywar200 You got to say ass hole on the White House's official youtube channel.

  • @pln9fos

i also don't really approve of the way he handled his presidency the past four years but I would rather have him for another four years than some of the Republican candidates. Their ideas of the future of America scare me personally

  • Obama and Stephen Colbert. One is the most brilliant and influential man on earth and the other is Obama.

  • @mikedamat hahaha aced me, with true words

  • that was stupid

  • Further proof that Obama's an actor, not a president...

  • @shaotech No, you're thinking of Ronald Reagen.

  • @RunningOnChronic lol, that shut him/her up

  • @shaotech Haha wtf. Just because he can act he's not eligible to be a president?

  • @Madwex91 wasnt reagan an actor?

  • @shaotech it's what american's consistantly vote for, they don't know what's best. Thats we say for your country, you need an american, only better, so in the nest primary election, vote for the canadian party!

  • Zoom in on Stephen's book. Just a little closer. A little more...

  • so amazingly awesome!!!

  • @truthtify321 true true

  • Comment removed

  • obamas really a comforting guy.....scary!

  • LOVE THIS PRESIDENT

  • why are the volume levels for the White House channel always so low? gotta crank the sound to hear!

  • Obama owns Colbert's book?

  • "Wait you overheard? Are your satelites really that good?"

Obama: "No but my ears a really that big."

  • Nice I am America and so can you on the boomshelf

  • Obama did well

    He is an actor

  • @truthtify321 He's a president.

  • Comment removed

  • As much as I might disagree with just about everything Obama says and does, it's awesome that he did this.

  • lol he's got stephen's book. Obama rules!

  • Political fun facts 101: Presidential campaigns require MILLIONS of dollars, nearly every time the winner is the one who spent the most, all politicians lie, lobbyists will never go away, neither Republicans nor Democrats have all the answers, both Republicans AND Democrats have flaws, compromise is essential to our legislative process, and keep an open mind and get the facts from both sides before jumping to conclusions.

  • I knew there would be a pointless political debate below before I even read the comments.

  • He's so good at reading lines and acting like he's serious about what he says.... I wonder where he got all that practice.

  • hahha, stephan got his book on the shelf :P

  • Could you people stop fucking starting flame wars under any video that has the least bit to do with politics? You complain about the president wasting time while you idle away your lives at a keyboard spewing shit about each other's political parties. Being president is the hardest job on the planet Earth. Idiots like you could never ever understand the pressure. Neither could I, but at least I know better than to go around arguing with every troll who disagrees with me.

  • @OkapiVideo Eat a dick... make it your favorite presidents dick.

  • WOW, I't great to see what happens behind the scenes when there are starving children and dying country's that could use the effort that a fucking fake president could actually put into doing what he was paid to do.

    Bravo sir, bravo...

Probably golfing with Tiger right now, and swapping mistresses.

  • @gramboliciousness

Why do people always bring up starving children when trying to make a point? Presidents don't have all the power in the world, and must do social functions and such. It's part of BEING PRESIDENT. Don't be so fucking stupid, Bush sat and read a book when the 2 towers were HIT. Soo.

  • @SebastienCade Well I stand corrected Sebastien, I guess it was more important to be on "The Colbert Report" than to tend to the office he was elected into. Obviously there are no important global concerns greater than a cameo on prime time.

Maybe you should put on your blue dress and apply for the position of intern for the new president.

  • @gramboliciousness It's called public relations. Every president does it, get over yourself.

  • @ousooners5193 Ohh, I see, THAT is public relations...

and here I thought it was all about shaking hands, kissing babies and getting across political viewpoints. Well perhaps he should do Mad TV or SNL... Oh right , HE DID! Like JFK on The Honeymooners, Clinton on Cheers and Bush on Seinfeld. I'm so glad you took the time to straighten me out with your opinion.

    Fuckface...

  • @gramboliciousness I'm really glad I'm not as bitter as you, life must be pretty shitty from inside that glass house. If the man wants to take an hour to do a cameo than so the fuck what, worlds not gonna fall over because he isn't at his desk.

  • @ousooners5193 Glad to see you could spit out the cock long enough to come and troll me 1 more time. He's not paid to be an entertainer, he's paid to keep the country running properly and strive for peace. Haven't seen that from this guy yet, guess it's because he is the highest paid black puppet in history.

You can go back to your uncles lap now... bitch.

  • what the hell is that voice at 1:02 when the prez pauses and before the woman starts to speak? Sounds like "Play my game".. o_O

  • @invisibletenants yea i know! wtf was that?

  • Very cool to see the behind the scenes work that goes on to make a set.

  • well ill be darned the president is a good actor?who would have known

  • @Noleafunburned exactly what i was going to say. his speeches sound exactly like his acting! he even has the same facial expression. ironic? me no think

  • haha, the white house has stephen colberts book! thats legit

  • Doesn´t a president have anything better to do???!!! I mean reaaaaally?! I f the German "KANZLERIN" would have taken part in something like this , she would lost half her voters.

  • I agree Barry. And President Obama I am rooting for in 2012 as well. Good man who loves the job and made very tough decisions under pressure GB 43 could not imagine.

  • Obama is the best actor since Reagon we have running the PR of the USA.

  • I feel like he got nervous around him haha. he knows colbert is smarter.

  • Good stuff! Finally a President who can: Read, pronounce words correctly, understand the MEANINGS of the words he's reading and most importantly, ISN'T LYING TO THE COUNTRY AND SENDING OUR SOLDIERS OFF TO DIE FOR HIS OWN PERSONAL BENEFIT! So all you Bush lovers can kiss Barry's ass. Obama will get the same amount of time as Bush got in office, EIGHT (8) YEARS! You can't find a better POTUS. And Ron Paul will NOT win with his ONE good idea (ending the Federal Reserve). He needs MORE than that.

  • @UncleElEx Obama is just as bad as bush or worse he just doesnt look like a fucking idiot doing it

  • @UncleElEx Sorry Obama is just Bush repackaged.

  • @truendymion

Except, you know, he's a Republican and Obama is a Democrat. Just a tiny difference.

  • @barelycertain There is no difference. Both corporate funded, both want endless wars and a welfare state. Both support fed and devaluation of currency.

  • @truendymion

He's funded by the government, which is a corporation. Of course he's corporate-funded! He's the president!

Neither democrats nor republicans want endless wars. Republicans have values and beliefs that lead to war (religion being a big one).

Neither want "devaluation" of currency to continue. The reason it's happening is that republicans have too much control of everything. Obama is trying to do great things, but republicans keep filibustering.

tl;dr demos are good, reps aren't

  • @barelycertain none of the them are good (except for Ron Paul who is really a libertarian). And how many millions did Obama spend in order to get to the white house? And who was the biggest contributor (look up George Soros)? Obama has actually sent 30,000 more troops into the Arabian peninsula even though during his campaign he promised to end the war immediately (he also promised to never raise taxes but that was a bold faced lie).

  • @truendymion

Raising taxes was necessary because of the debt crisis. Republicans are to blame for that. Obama is taking the pain for them, as he's president.

  • @barelycertain The stimulus package was really the last straw, he really showed us that his main concern were his corporate backers and not the people. The duality tactics are just a front. The real problem is corporatism and croney capitalism. Dems and Reps are different brands of the same bullshit.

  • @UncleElEx

Um, you do know that he threw the war into overdrive after he became president.

He's done plenty for his own benefit. He's a spineless man with zero integrity.

GW wasn't a good president but neither is Obama.

You're just a partisan hack. That's all that is.

  • lol the whitehouse has a youtube channel....?

  • @HamIsDie with some great dance beat

  • @minimusemax yeah because taking the most vacation days of any president in history (W. Bush) solved the problems then. Fuck outta here.

  • @minimusmax this was shown to troops in iraq.

you know, like a morale booster?

  • If you look close enough you can actually see the strings... I bet Zbig is upstairs performing his greatest work.. it is like being John Malkovitch on steroids

  • we do a lot of pretending in America... any normal human being would not respect somebody who sing handedly starves Iranian children by driving food prices up with sanctions... I wonder how many people will die from Obama's work through NATO on lybia and his current economic warfare against Iran?

but he looks cute and cuddly so I totally am calling in and voting for Obama when the election is on T.v., what is his number I am supposed to dial?

  • flying hearts :) <3

  • 1 take! thats why he is the president!!

  • @ZeuSaL 1 take shows how much of an actor the president really is. he is an actor. why do you think everything he promises the exact opposite happens? he is acting. feeding us crap all day long.

  • @ZeuSaL Sure.. He's a good actor..

  • @ZeuSaL he deserves an emmy for sure!!!!

  • i like how everyone is bitching about Obama taking like, one day to do this. God forbid the man have some fun. remember he has so far taken less vacation than any recent president. God fucking forbid he isn't working 24/7.

  • @OyashirosMiko Obama has gotten busy sorting out Bush' screw ups..

In his first year as president, Bush took like 6 months vacation, or something absurd like that.. no wonder the U.S needs some big changes.. at least Obama actually has ethics..

  • Why is an American president participating in this nonsense?

  • @maxshibui He did it as a dedication to the troops, you'd understand if you would watch the show and not be such a prude.

  • @blackie1012 Oh, my bad. Still, maybe a better dedication would be to bring them home, like he promised while campaigning, instead of just transferring them from Iraq to Afghanistan...

  • @maxshibui youuuuure not in the military are you.

  • @maxshibui

you know that they have to be out of Afganistan by the end of the year, right?

  • Respond to this video...

They will be out of Afganistan by the end of the year...did you miss that?

  • @johalieb1 All they're doing is replacing troops with mercenaries. This shit will never end...

  • @truendymion well, eventually the financial crisis will stike the mercenary company and the hired soldiers will lay down their weapons :D (or maybe "hopefully" is the right expression)

  • @maxshibui because he's not an asshole. have you seen the fucked up shit W participated in? literally making videos that bash the poor!? making JOKE videos with his dog "hunting for weapons of mass destruction" THAT'S better!? poking fun and LAUGHING AT our troops!

  • Tell me how this work, YouTube. I just downloaded the video faster than it took to load it on the page...

  • There's Pete Souza doing his thing =]

  • He has Stephen Colbert's book.

    *tears of joy*

  • All you reacting to my comment, I see that you think it's just comedy. The president wasn't elected, and paid to do prescreened comedy skits. This guy has the power to end this planet. He can take away all our rights. He can impoverish you. He can, and has started wars that kill you. These are the things he should be interrogated on. Not a comedy skit. Maybe when he does these things he has the power to do to you or your family, a comedy skit should be done by him to explain his actions.

  • Comment removed

  • @MrInflateAdate Your an idiot. He doesnt have the power to end the world, thats where everyone else comes in. He'll be out of power soon enough, calm down.

  • really shows colbert to be a kiss ass brown nose bitch

  • WTF??? All the important issues he could be interviewing Obama on, and he does this prescripted Bullshit.

  • @MrInflateAdate He has interviewed him in a more important way; this was just a tiny cameo for a skit, not an interview.

  • @MrInflateAdate also they did this for the uso - it had to be scripted for it to be perfect.

  • @MrInflateAdate *sigh*

  • and here i thought they did that part live haha.. but still that was awsome i think colbert is the only one who can get the president to make fun of himself... my ears are just that big hahhahahaaa

  • Obama has a promising career in acting after his presidency.

  • Right next to "The Purpose of American Politics." Awesome.

  • You know what's kinda creepy, though?

Looking back and remembering that episode, I realized just how easy it is for Pres. Obama to say just about anything and make it believable. He almost convinced me, back when the episode was on, that he really wanted Colbert bald.

  • Colbert has such a hard-on for Obama. What a douche.

  • @jamestv231 i guess your a fan of bill o'reilly

  • damn, all in one take

  • Obama is such a baller.

  • Comment removed

  • "No, but my ears are really that big"

LOL! I love our commander in chief :)

  • @mWongAero that was funny but he's not "our" commander in chief, he's the military's. i wouldn't ever consider bush (or any president) "my" commander in chief. not since i got out.

  • obama is the coolest president in the universe :D

  • He's so tall

  • @bluepinkyellogreen

    He's 6'1". About average.

  • @stayawayfromtheshed 6'1 is very tall. Average male height is 5'9.

  • @Anon371

I didn't know that. I should have, since I'm 6'2" and I'm usually taller than the people I meet.

I never really a paid attention, though.

  • Steven for Pres!

  • Allah hu akbar.

  • Doesn't Obama have a job to do? FML

  • @RoV1sion Yes, and supporting the troops is part of the job. This short time he took to do this was great entertainment. support, and personal thanks for the men and women in uniform.

  • @RoV1sion ikr? how dare he spend 2 minutes doing something other than work

  • Please reelect that man. You have to.

  • @pwell2

No one has to do that, which is the great thing about democracy. My vote is going for Ron Paul.

The guy has a bad rap amongst partisan people, that's because partisan people have been working hard to shut him up and hold his gaining reputation under.

He's smart, he's sensible, he's compassionate, he's a Libertarian. All of this speaks to me.

  • @stayawayfromtheshed Colbert's a great comedian, and it's cool that Obama agreed to do this skit, (surprising because he's usually such a deush) but if Barak gets re-elected instead of Ron Paul, the joke will be on America,

  • @Thanos700 To hell with Ron Paul. Obama may have lost any potential vote of mine the second he extended the Patriot Act, but at least he clearly understands separation of church and state and its importance, unlike Paul. I dont understand the worship for a man who has such black-and-white attitudes on everything. End the FED? Kucinich and Nader have been preaching the same thing forever.

  • The last part was awesome xD

  • Sarcasm is the new humor, and the new way of life. My parents were forced to adapt to it ever since I was 10 years old.

  • Colbert's book at the whitehouse.

  • Wow Obama is really good at reading scripts and acting.

I guess Im not really surprised.

  • He kind of phoned it in. : P

  • @SmashActionRemix one take, no review? He did a pretty good job.

  • It's heart-warming how they(at least Colbert) can be so casual with Obama and not just be like "yes mr. president, no mr.president"
