don't you just love how yanks know everything!!! ha ha It's Rottnest, however, it was named after Dutch explorers named the island rats nest because of all the quokkas running around, they thought these marsupials were rats. Do you think they had american ancestry?
Definitely Rottnest island. I came across quokkas first while publishing an awesome little novel placed in WA--To Find the Girl from Perth. After that I couldn't get enough of them...but you can't find them here in the US, sadly. Perhaps one day I'll come down to WA. Thanks for the vid.
