@vandamme211 When exactly is the cursor invisible? always? please specify the exact time. I am always improving my recording my recording techniques, so will do better next time. Thanks.
@MississaugaHomes When you create a level by copying, Revit will not generate a corresponding floor plan view (sometimes is a good thing if you have typical floors). You may fix the problem or use a different method. To fix the problem, use the view menu floor plan command and select the level to associate with. To start a new level, use the home menu level cxommand and draw a level horizontally (or use pick lines to offset the level a certain distance. Good Luck.
@guitarjism if you are referring to mass floors, they will appear only if you select the mass first and apply mass floors from the contextual menu. However if are referring to the floor slabs, those are applied by using floor by face in the massing menu, but you have to select FINISH to complete the command.
@Fhenry Please verify that your selection includes mass only category. After selecting all the masses with a crossing window, use the selection filter to list all selection categories, then uncheck any other categories and keep the mass category checked. The mass floors button should appear in the ribbon menu.
@mrnmskellybarbie I am using Revit Arch 2010 massing menu. If you are new to Revit, please search and download online help tutorials from Autodesk.com and watch youtube videos - Search youtube videos - for Revit ribbon menu.
@qomb1 Hinged doors can only exist in vertical surfaces..so you would have to create a vestibule with a vertical wall either by subtracting a void or joining a solid box.
how do you get the 'schedule' tab on the left side panel to show up?..when I open a new file for 'conceptual mass' it isn't there?..and it wont let me create one
@dohmahklan Reference Lines are not typically used in a project, but rather used in the family editor for moving or rotating parts, as well as line-based famiies. In a Revit project use reference planes instead. Also, since reference plance do not appear in 3D views, you may want to use model line on top of reference planes.
In Revit 2010, from the Home menu, select the Level command. You will get two options: Draw a horizontal Level or Pick another Level after you enter an offset value. Refer to the Help menu and Tutorials for more info.

That's cool how did you get your mass to stay centered on the same point on different levels? I'm still trying to figure that out.
Orochi985 7 months ago
@Orochi985 late reply but - When you copy and paste in the same place, the mass profile stay centered.

Thanks Rabi,
I have difficulty creating levels....spent lot's of time.
Do u have a video showing how to create levels and change the properties of each level.
Tried copying first level many times and it did create some kind of level but on the left menu bar it's only showing Level 1 and that is my dilema.
