I just bought one last week,only used it twice but I love it,I have been using the Automax V4 and it sucks

Put a piece of tape over the speaker. It will be more quiet and waterproof!!!

Excellent pointer, I used to have the Bullseye from Whites and it was great, but this one surpasses it. I'm surprised at the great products Garrett has been introducing to the market, my 1st detector was a Predator 2 which I hated so I moved to Whites and then to Minelab with the Explorer 2, I had lost my faith in Garrett until I tested the GTI 2500 and the Ace 250. I can't believe people are complaining about the price, it's worth every penny!

I am really liking this pinpointer! I have a Sunray probe I use on my Sovereign GT but it's actually a bit of a pain using it. Setting down the detector and flipping a switch back and forth just get's kind of annoying.

I really like the LED light on this too since I am caught out at detecting around dusk sometimes.

I just bought an E-Trac now and I seriously think I'm going to buy one of these. I love the size, the holder, the LED and the build quality. Good job Garrett!

@doogie2112 Thanks for the feedback, the Pro-pointer has become the best selling probe we've had in over 30yrs, it simply ticks all the boxes, it will compliment your E-Trac very well as that range are well know to be poor pinpointers.

I always use the pinpointer before I dig so I make the smallest hole possible.

UPS just delivered mine today, took it for a try at the local park. Many coins I was able to detect before digging the plug. Seems like I get more depth when the coins are in the ground than air testing.

Looks a lot better than the whites bullseye. Pricy though.
