to sifupr- Would you be kind enough to post the name or the video of these full contact fights that your referring to? Perhaps you would be the 1st school in the entire world that will break the spell of all the detractors that indicate Wing Chun can't fight and is not effective in a professional ring. Perhaps your links to these fights will forever put away all doubts. Also were these fights national or in a small regional sparring "point style"? How were your fights tested and against whom?
If you type in Lei Tai Teaser you can see the International Lei Tai fights held in Maryland. I have clips of our other fights plus our training methods here. I also have clips on my website: wingchunkwoon. I've studied from many different WC Sifus including 4 of Yip Man's students over the last 40 years and was a kickboxer myself. I have one clip with slo-mo showing the WC techs our guys use in competition. We're having another full contact event in NYC. We're looking for more fighters.
Taekwondo is cool, it stretches your legs, keeps you in shape and those kicks are nice to watch. But I highly suggest you find a different martial arts, because trust me, taekwondo doesn't work in a real fight, especially those fancy kicks.
When you say impractical do you mean you wont get punched/ bil geed in the eye if you dont put your hand up

these moves are impractical and won't work against a well trained WC practitioner.

Thx for your comment. We test what we do in full contact events and are winning. Obviously something is right.
