It could have been anyone playing his part in the commercial. I don't think that they were using his fame as a professional skateboarder to market their trucks. Mark Gonzales is not a household name. Probably 97% of the people who watched this commercial have no idea who the guy in the chair is in real life. Even a lot of skateboarders probably didn't make the connection.
