  • Stuff you cannot take to the grave with youall you can take is your life experiences too bad a good percentage of people don't realize that

  • is he from extreme cheapskate??

  • Less is more!

  • 14:50 her face is hilarious!!!

  • This guy is a huge dork... but very clever.

  • ascetism is good,

    cheapskateness is bad

it is not easy to remain ascetist in a cheapskate society and if you earn less then you need(you start thinking about money and how to spare them till your next salary, that kills your ascetism immediately)

  • This guy is putting the proper meaning of cheapskate into peoples minds, he is also probably a millionaire due to how little he spends rather than how much he earns alone. He has been a cheapskate all his life and with this, it's obvious that he isn't going to just give away what he puts so much effort into saving so he must have it all put away somewhere. This guy is great : D

  • well he said moving is a bad thing sometimes due to various reasons some people are forced to relocate to live peacefully

  • he is right we spend far too much on what we dont need

  • obviously he isn't an economist cause he'd know we (USA) are not coming out of this. Its gonna get worse. Wait and see.

  • looking to start your own online business.. i can help visit me at my channel and i will train you buy showing you all tricks you can use to become successfull online.

  • I don't know how much Yeager makes through interviews and and book sales, however, I am aware of his committment to helping others in need. Hopefully, an impressive portion of his proceeds go to this social sector. The book carries sound advice and let's face it.....we Americans are relentless in our pursuit of absolutely everything of material wealth. Good job, Jeff!

  • Loved his book!!!!!

  • Since this "ultimate cheapskate" is paid well for his books, television appearances, and lecture engagements, he obviously hasn't decreased his "dependency on money" all that much. Instead, I can't escape the image of this guy being an industry or business spokesperson trying to prepare Americans for the future by convincing us that near poverty (earning low wages) is actually a good thing.

  • @stewartx5

how do you know how well he's paid? he said he writes in his home's garage.

  • @stewartx5 That's a truly stupid comment. 1] He may or may not be paid well, but whatever he's paid, he stretches it very far. 2] He never claims to be an industry spokesperson, not that that means anything. 3] He never tries to convince people to earn low wages; only to use the wages they do earn wisely. By following his steps, many people can rid themselves of the habits that keep them one paycheck away from poverty. 4] Stop being a foolish naysayer and listen. (Are you a stroke victim?)

  • @LoudCitizen '.. a foolish naysayer ..'

I listened, but that doesn't change my impressions. Now perhaps you should try listening. For example, I never said he WAS, or claimed to be, an industry spokesperson, only that this was my personal image of the guy. The American economy (for most, not the wealthy) continues it's long decline and I'm tired of so many (including the news industry, a wealthy business) trying to convince us this is not really a bad thing - we just need to do with less.
