  • Beautiful song, best movie of all time! God I love it!

  • this song was deticated to Judith Barsi, the voice actress of Anne Marie,

She was murdered along with her mother just after the film was finished, and never got to see the movie come out,

    She was 10.

    And her father killed her.

  • This song now makes me think of my dog who passed away today. R.I.P. Taz. 2000-2012 :'(

  • I wish they'd made a music video to this song like they did for An American Tail's 'Somewhere Out There' or the sequel's 'Dreams to Dream'. One of the best songs of the Don Bluth movies.

  • RIP Judith Barsi (actress of Anne-Marie).

  • Underrated and beautiful!

  • Played. Judith Barsi is at the top of my list of the strongest people I've ever heard of. Sure their are strong people, but I have the most compassion for the ones like Judith who have to have strength on a galactic level, and who live abusive and torturous, living hells everyday. Thank you miss Barsi for giving your all to the world.

  • I always felt that this song should be renamed "Judith's Song." Since I found out who Judith Barsi was, I also always felt like this, her last ever work, should've paid homage and tribute to her. Many people don't know about the terrible fate that became this young, yet very talented, beautiful person. I feel like they should've put "In loving memory of Judith Barsi," in the credits. Judith Barsi probably never knew how much people appreciated how much she put in to each character she

  • @redmr2na Yeah, I know.

  • @redmr2na This song was dedicated to Judith as a final farewell from the cast and crew of All dogsgo to heaven. But yes she was strong, and for a 10 year old at that.

  • @WalkingLights I remember her part on the banana boat in Jaws 4 the fear her eyes puts most actresses in horror movies these days to shame.

  • Sad song definitely a song that reminds me of my dogs.

  • This music is played by mcuhael loyd.

  • This has to be my favorite song from All Dogs Go To Heaven. I wish the soundtrack version of the song was available for download on ITunes. I like the soundtrack version of the song much better than the NTSC version.

  • Great song, but i didn't know that Judith who voiced Ann Marie was killed until i did research last year, sad but she will be missed. Great film, i saw it 2 times in theaters when i was 8 with Little Mermaid.

  • I have a cool remix of this song coming soon.

    Just pm me.

  • RIP Hamilton.... and Teddy, wherever you are, I hope you are happy.... I miss my dogs.... Rocky, I hope you don't leave me anytime soon.

  • Song is dedicated to Judith Barsi

    R.I.P

  • I'm so playing this song at my farewell to Redmond party.

  • When i move back to Shoreline.

  • I miss my childhood. Everything was better: food tasted better, the seasons felt better, etc. Now that I'm an adult life sucks and I hate just about everything.

  • It's a pity Anne Marie was gone along with her player Judith Barsi in the sequels and tv show, and that the setting changed from New Orleans to San Francisco, because I think she'd rather retire a lady than live for all eternity as a dog angel.

  • Would anybody believe me if I told that when I first saw Barsi's father, my hand automatically turned into a fist just by looking at him?

  • @Raptorcloak I don't blame you.

  • @Raptorcloak I would.

  • R.I.P Anne-Marie.

SHE is who y'all should be paying tribute to.

  • @Ubuuuroi Don't talk 'bout your doggins here.

    'nuff said.

  • @wakkoswish123 Yes, because Anne-marie is definitely my dog and not the main character of the movie. ok.

  • @Ubuuuroi i accidently pushed the "reply" button...

  • This song makes me cry, and miss my childhood. Being an adult is so stressful. I never thought being a kid would end. What a slap in the face I got.

  • @famousmuch420 i know man.

  • this makes me think of my boyfriend and i so much. our love does keep "growing stronger" and our love will survive.

  • RIP Grandpa Joe, I miss you. 10/12/2009

  • Somebody should put this song to Princess Tutu clips of Fakir and Ahiru.

  • This song always makes me wanna cry my eyes out. My dog, Spirit, died on July 31. I'll always miss her and never will forget her. Every time I hear this song, I think of her. Every dog definitely belongs in Heaven when they die - I stopped watching this movie six years ago. *R.I.P. Spirit. (1997-2011)

  • @southpark34005, mine died on july 5th of this year, 16 years old but still an eternal puppy, R.I.P SUGER MY GIRL OF 16 YEARS

  • I love this song because it touces the hearts of us. And I love All Dogs Go To Heaven, even its sequel.

  • sad thing, when you were a kid all you wanted to do was grow up as fast as you can because you always dreamed of being the thing you always wanted... now here you are thinking you took childhood for granite but really you didn't, its part of growing up. your grandparents did it, your parents did it, now you're doing it, nothing wrong with being nostalgic

  • what ever happend to movies like this and several others with such amazeing sound tracks and storys, oh yeh corperate coruption and money grubing, i miss my childhood

  • @pvtread I think it has more to do with overbearing moral guardians. If money were the issue then we would still have movies like this today. All Dogs Go to Heaven was one of the best-selling VHSs ever. The problem is that many parents got outraged that a film made their kids cry. What they fail to understand is that their kids cried because they were so drawn into the story and became intimately attached to the characters. This is a powerful film. Those of us who have seen it will never forget.

  • I'm playing this because my grandmother died just now of a massive heart attack. I will always remember her and love her forever. I miss her very much.

  • i luv this song!! but i can't remember it it was so long ago i saw the movie, but im glad ive found it :) <3

  • judith and her mother should have left her father. son of bitch he is.

  • Goddamn, can we please get some happy shit in here?

  • I've owned this movie since i was 9-10. I still watch it in my limited free time.

  • i find it sadly ironic, the video of a song from our childhood it covered in comments about death and abuse and sadness. a miserable mirror to the innocence of being a kid.

  • RIP Judith Barsi. I can't hear this song without crying. </3

  • this is such a Beutiful song :) i hope Judith her mother and Dom DeLuise are R.I.P in heaven now

  • @therealgreenpup Are you from another country,

    or you can't spell?

    Probably the latter.

  • @wakkoswish123 have you ever heard of TYPO?

  • I need this song in instrumental version pleaseeee!!!!!!!! :(

  • I love this song but when I think about that little girl, is so sad that she died a very young age:(

  • The song is very sad

  • @nobodysperfect06. Me too. I want to stay in 1997 forever when I was 3 and everything was perfect. I hate the 2000s or whatever they call it.

  • @Supersmilelyface94 You have never been in Russia in 1990-2000 the worst time in our history((

  • I was writing a story where this song and of course Judith are talked about and I just broke down into tears while writing that chapter. :(``RIP to Judith and also RIP to the Sugarland fans who died last week when the rigging collapsed on them at the Indiana state fair.

  • @MISCrazyaboutvideos Also to the now 6th person who succombed to injuries from that accident.

  • F*ck 4 heartless idiots

    R.I.P little Judith :(

  • Rest Peacefully little Judith. Thank you for being a part of my childhood favorites.

  • i cry every time i watch ADGTH....that was the last movie i saw before my first dog died....i miss him so much.....RIP Judith Barsi and Banger (my dog) <3

  • Why must innocence be so fragil, I find it to be the most beautiful thing, I really can't understand why people would want to destroy it?!! :(

  • Comment removed

  • Jozsef Barsi ought to be ashamed of himself. I hope God deals with him good.

  • Wish I could purchase the original track.

  • RIP Judith Barsi. a talent lost too young

  • All dogs Go To HEaven is a story about salvation and redeeming oneself, and the power of love. this song is powerful. this film teches that LOVE SURVIVES!

  • This was dedicated to Judith Barsi in her memory, since Anne Marie was her last role to play when she died.

    We will miss her.

  • Don Blueth you fucking GENIOUS

  • Love survives it all. I do not believe truer words were said.

  • i can remember this!!!! i used to love this film coming on at Xmas!!!!!!

  • i cried cuz for some reason i remembered my dogs...

  • This song was dedicated to child actress Judith Barsi, who voiced Anne Marie. She and her mother were shot to death by her father. Judith died shortly before this movie was released. RIP Judith Barsi <3

  • I also dedicate this Song to Many Past Cartoon and Animated Film characters that fell to Obscurity or died out early from the 80's.

    -The Snorks

-Cooler and The Gang (Pound Puppies)

    -Shirt Tales

    -MapleTown

    -and so Much Much More

R.I.P. May you all return someday into making our generation better with the childhood memories and Lessons you taught us, to give to our Future Youth.

  • The song and movie always makes me cry

  • breantheartist1989, thats if that future ever happens to me lol, finally picked up a copy of the movie, thrift stores are great for these old movies

  • i have commented on this vid before but i need to again because in the last three months we have lost three great actors from Doctor Who.

    Nicholas Courtney

    Elisabeth Sladen

    Micheal Gough

    may you all R.I.P

  • @oliversmillie4 yes so sad :( i too am a big doctor who fan RIP all of them

  • Her dad should of just shot himself in the first place then poor judith and her mum would still be alive :(

  • this is a beautiful song! Judith will live in our hearts forever even though she's gone.

  • i love this movie... cartoon... watever lol im 20 yrs old n i still love it... its a beatiful story with a great storyline lovable characters and beautiful artwork that makes ur heart juz melt it's a classic

  • so happy that i still have the original movie....will NEVER let it go, one of my favs

  • like listening to this song makes me wish I could have a reunion will all the people I knew from elementary and middle school, the innocense of my childhood, for all the people that faded into obscurity

  • R.I.P. Judith Barsi :( She'll never be forgotten

  • Just found out about Judith Barsi a few days ago :( I think my heart broke into a million pieces. That poor little girl. I hope she's happy now, wherever she is :'( This song is a beautiful tribute to her, it never made much sense to me the first time I heard it but it does now. R.I.P.

  • Wonderful song. A good one to be a tribute to Judith Barsi, God rest her soul. Poor girl. It just sickens me to think about it.

  • what the hell happened to all these movies??

  • I can't listen to this it makes me cry too much! DX

It just depresses me about Judith Barsi and her dad beating her and finally killing her aged 10.

I managed to listen to it all but my floor was covered in tears!! :'(

  • RIP Judith Barsi. This song is dedicated you.

  • I remeber when i was younger(now 15) this was my favorite movie+the series too. for the series, i would never miss an episode. good memories from my childhood.=D

  • Not only does this song shows a tribute to the once great Judith Barsi (Poor Thing).

but also childhood memories and loved ones that passed away or faded into obscurity, the effects old times impacted.

now today we have fights, drugs, and pretty much any terrible thing you can imagine. the world was so simpler back then but now it seems to fall into the obscurity itself and everything that was good in films isnt any longer sadly except for Disney and whatnot.

    I wish i was in the 80's :(

  • i miss the innocence of my childhood. Now, we got all this crap on the news and t.v. these days, god bless people like you who immortalize my great childhood memories like this. :)

  • 1989

  • Judith Barsi the girl who played anne maries voice was killed by her father. her dad abused her and stuff cuz he was jealous of her daughters succsess. he was drunk. so 1 day he went and killed her and her mother and poured gasoline on their bodies and set the house on fire. then he killed himself. they made this song for judith barsi

  • @luvtheoc101 I know. She didn't even get to see the finished movie RIP Judith Barsi. :*(

  • I was crushed the first time I read about Judith Barsi. I went to look her up one day to see if she had done anything in adulthood...damn.

  • May you be happy in Heaven Ms. Barsi (Catholic Crosses himself)

  • @mets2128 I've watched this movie since I can remember but I just found out today what happened to her. If that ain't messed up IDK what is. R.I.P.

  • This song really makes me cry, because my dog recently died and we got him when I was 3 and he died when I am now 16, but this song shows that my love for him will truly survive with me forever =*]

God I miss that bugger X*[

  • So sad that Judith would not experience the 90s and recent 2000s decades. Gone so soon, almost a year before I was born.

  • I just read this on her imdb page : The song "Love Survives" used in the end credits of All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989) was dedicated to her as a final gift and farewell to her from the film's cast and crew.

  • Dear Childhood, I wish you lasted longer, that we could have spent more time together, I always think of you or miss you when life, reality, is cruel and tortures me, Sincerely, Andrew

  • @nobodysperfect06 So true

  • yeah, this song also makes me miss my childhood, miss my elementary and middle school days, makes me miss all the friends and acquaintences, classmates I had, whether I was friends with them or not, even if I wasn't friends with them doesn't mean I was enemies, and all these friends, classmates, acquaintences I lost contact with because either they transferred to a new school or I transferred, got seperated when we all went to different middle schools and high schools, you get what I'm saying?

  • @nobodysperfect06 So true- I read this and tears came to my eyes

  • yeah, it makes me miss being a kid, no responsibilities, just had to worry about what was for breakfast, lunch, and dinner

  • growing up sucks, i want to be a kid again, did not have to deal with life and societies drama, cruelty, problems, responsibilities

  • This is a song that ought to be played at every funeral.

  • Judith Barsi...Gone too soon !!!

Unfortunately she was only ten years old

  • I love this song, but I hate that it's played at a lower pitch in the movie credits to the NTSC version.

  • @oliversmillie4 aaaaaaw that's so sad! I never knew she died.....now I wanna cry! That's just another child being taken away from us over some foolishness. She did such a wonderful job in this movie:( RIP Judith•,_•,

  • @CokedUpPuppy who is this Judith girl everyone keeps talking about? Did she play a role in this movie!?!

  • Comment removed

  • @msSonic192 Judith Barsi played Anne-Marie the Girl on the cover. Judith was murdered by her Father in 1988. All Dogs came out a year after her death (1989) This song is dedicated to her memory.

P.S i know im not cokedUpPuppy but i saw this and had to say something.

  • This song makes me think of Judith Barsi. Rest in peace, sweet one.

  • i love this song so much

it makes me sad but its so pretty

    i almost cry everytime

  • i think its so sweet this song was made for Judith :D

  • To me, Dom Deluise is always going to be eating pizza at that resturaunt in my hometown where he left an autograph.

  • @mattjnor98 yes it was specially made for judith

  • I love this song, its so true love does survive even beyond life and into eternity. I'm sure that Judith Barsi, and Dom DeLuise know that now more than anyone.

  • Was this song dedicated to Judith Barsi when it was released?

  • Everytime I listen to this song I always think of L from the death note. L was so sweet and he died so young :'(

  • Everytime I listen to this song I always think of L from the death note. L was so sweet and he died so young :'(

  • @bleach2707 I always think of Chip from Sonic.

  • @firereed4, Awe that is so sweet, and might i add i would like to dedicate this song to my daytime soap opera star (ot: and his name is joe mascolo who plays stefano dimera on days of our lives), and I hope i'll be able to see him in person someday. and also to my favorite wwe superstar, goldust, and i also hope i'll see him in person too.

  • I used to have a basset hound like the one with the red cap. I remember that dog so well cause one day he got out of our yard and when he came back his dick was bleeding everywhere. He caught it on some barbwire and he was running around the house waving his tail and squirting all over. Me and my sister were in tears and my dad was laughing to hard to call the vet. Tough dog.

  • Wonderful song, I'm tearing up as we speak....R.I.P Judith, your beautiful soul lives on through the characters you played....yup yup yup

  • My childhood <3

  • I'd like to dedicate this song to all of rock's fallen legends. Frank Zappa, Kurt Cobain, John Bonham, Keith Moon, Jim Morrison, Bon Scott, Randy Rhoades, Cliff Burton, Ronnie James Dio and many others. May they and all the others rest in peace.

  • @Pikachu4812 What about Judith?

  • @KittyCatRat How could I forget Judith? Yep. Her too.

  • From what I know, Anne marie's voice actress was just a kid and her dad killed her AND her mom, then killed himself. She was in a movie about heaven, but then she arrived there not long after. That just sucks. Dying while your very young.

  • @Maxxorguy1 i know :( i love her character in landbofore time (ducky) R.I.P <3

  • @Maxxorguy1 Yeah her name was Judith Barsi....such a cute kid :(

  • @Maxxorguy1 she also did ducky from land before time

  • @Maxxorguy1 Yes, her name was Judith Barsi and this song was written for and dedicated to her.

  • @Maxxorguy1 ya anne marie's voice actress is judith barsi. she played ducky in the land before time as well, she passed away in 1988, when she was 10 and this song is dedicated to her. R.I.P JUDITH WE LOVE U

  • @artery44 WTH!?!?!?! You replied to someone that got his comment rated 27 times, 27 is my date of birth, And YOU mentioned 1988, A friend of mine was born in that year! He's dead now so ah well...Any way...I FEAL LIKE IM IN A TWIGHLIGHT ZONE!!!

  • @Maxxorguy1 You know the freaky part?... You're comment got a thumbs up 27 times... the 27th is my b-day... O.O

  • @Maxxorguy1 So sad:(

  • @Maxxorguy1 I know what you mean, she was just 10 and asleep when her dad killed her. Something very similiar happened years later I think, a man was going to get his house brought by other people and he killed his wife, his daughter, the pet dog, his daughter's horses, set the house on fire and killed himself.

  • @Maxxorguy1 dude you seriouse? thats gotta really suck for her omg i never knew that :'(

  • @Maxxorguy1 You are correct her name was Judith Barsi, She also voiced Ducky in The Land Before Time. she was ten when her dad killed her. Apparently the father who was an alcoholic could not handle the fact that she was more successful than him. He also abused her mentally and physically (not sexually)many times before actually killing her. Very Sad, I hope she has found the peace in heaven that eluded her on earth.

  • @dragonranger12 a bit of a downer, but well said.

  • @dragonranger12 It's a shame she never did a movie with Schwatzzenegar, Stallone, or the Hulkster. I'd like to think that if they saw what her father was doing they'd drive his head into the concrete.

  • @dragonranger12 Yeah, its really sad - but, as I see it; a part of Judith Barsi eternally lives on in Anne-Marie and everyone who knows her story; Its sad that she never got to see herself as Anne-Marie in the theater, Anne-Marie was her best work ever, sadly much due to the fact that Anne-Marie and Judith Barsi were quite similiar people. You could hear it in Anne-Marie that Judith channels herself trough the character and enchants the audience: A feat many grown-up actors fail to do themselves

  • Do you have the rest of the soundtrack?

  • Love this movie, and it survives! =]

  • I don't see how this song has anything to do with that poor girl's terribly tragic murder. None of the lyrics seem to share anything about the kind of person she was.

  • well I still think it fits it, it refers to any kind of Love, not just coupe love between boyfriend/girlfriend, husband/wife, or just friendship love, pet love

  • @nobodysperfect06

I get that from the terribly convenient lyrics. I think they probably shat out this recording and decided to stick a "we're sorry your dead" tribute onto it. If they really cared about her they would've written an entire song about her.. not this garbage of a song that has no meaning or context or semblance of feeling on the initial listen- Or the listens thereafter.

  • 80's and 90's movies were amazing, and now we have todays TV shows replacing them with abnoxious teens with snobby attitudes, this is corrupting kids, why cant they have these movies like we did, we were lucky, all dogs go to heaven makes me cry

  • @Brendon00000 that's not entirely true, there's still good stuff in kids television these days, I'll bet when you were a kid you thought talespin and darkwing duck were good entertainment value, try watching them today.

  • @70mstang There's nothing wrong with Darkwing duck, Talespin I agree with, but Darkwing Duck holds up pretty well. Yeah I agree that there are some good shows today...but there's always going to be some that make the good shows feel bad about themselves (e.g. Hannah Montanna and iCarly get a lot more attention than they deserve when ther is much better stuff out there)

  • @randomandproudqueen well when most shows are crap, what else do we have to watch? I been slowly moving away from TV, thanks to the crappyness of today's TV shows.

  • @70mstang what that suppose to mean? I liked them shows. Darkwing wasnt great, but it stood up back then. And is way better than the crap now days.

so me 1 good show that we have today. and Spongebob doesnt count

  • @Brendon00000

    a.k.a...iCarly ><

  • @Brendon00000 i agree with you. i want does years to come back.

  • @Brendon00000 True that. When I have children, I'm going to have them watch the classics like this, and not the smut that's out now. Don't mean to sound like Kyle's Mom. but it's true!

  • @Brendon00000

It's no worse than the 60s and 70s where kid's role models included Fred Flintsone, Top Cat, Yogi Bear, George Jetson and the rest of Hanna Barbera's menagerie of lazy, scheming, lying, dimwitted characters.

  • gawd I havnt seen this movie in 4evers!

  • @DimeraFan28 Tom Selleck, Danny Glover and Richard Dreyfuss are all still alive, fortunately.
