  • Hi Josh,

Can u pls tell me what program u used for this? I would like to do one for my experience with cancer :)

  • I miss these

  • I'd love people thought the same of adoption as you

  • I had that Kind Of Cancer

  • baby? you... wanna... oh gosh

  • I like the fact that there is no music, it is better. you know, because he could add sad music and all, but I like this so much more. the silence is priceless..:(

  • you really don't have a girlfriend??? I would love to date someone like you!!!

  • Similar story - different time frame. I was 16 and it was 1959. Hip disarticulation. No chemotherapy available - yet I'm still here. Things have changed so much since then, but personal reactions to the diagnosis have to basically be the same. I appreciate you, Josh. Thanks for bringing your talent and wisdom to You Tube and Facebook and "live, on stage"!!

  • I love these, but I really miss your drawings. Please bring them back!

  • wow, you are a one legged man and i REALLY REALLY REALLY apreaciate the way you love and use your life. YOU ARE actually THE MOST AMAZING PERSON ALIVE.

I am a brazilian eleven year old girl and you are my complete hero. thank you for being wonderfull. YOU INSPIRE ME!!!

  • You never cease to amaze me!!!

  • the more I watch this new episode the more I miss the old ones :(

  • Hey Josh, did you see Glee 3D yet? There is SOO much brittany in it! I think you'd really like it!

  • Gahh I had to have a port when I was little. I hate the scar I have from it. Sooo self conscious.

  • The blushing just made me buy your book even though I have no money.

  • it's not good to refer to biological children as "regular" because then it implies adopted kids are "irregular"... i know u didn't intend that distinction, but i had to point out that you said it because small slips like that can alienate a person... make them feel like they don't belong

  • @BostonFrost I completely agree. But I also think that it's pretty clear that Josh's narritive voice in JDF is that of a child- the child he was when he went through this. To a nine-year-old with nothing but biological siblings, biological is "regular", and adopted is, in fact, "irregular". And I think it's also clear, even if he's not using the 'proper' terms, then he is still in favour of adoption.

  • @EmilyEmilyIris

yes, i made that comment because my mother is adopted & i've always heard her tell stories of what it's like to feel like she wasn't wanted by her real parents & how she was teased by other kids about it (it's even given me somewhat of an identity crisis because i don't know where i came from) & though i realize this narrative is from a child's naive point of view i had to speak up adoptive children who have to learn their "different" very young... it really bothers me

  • @BostonFrost Very true. And it bothers me too that someone could be taunted for being adopted, which should be seen as something positive and good. I guess what I was trying to say was that I'd rather hear what Josh was really thinking and feeling as a kid rather than having to censor himself with political correctness. Especially in this case where he makes it clear that he supports adoption.

  • @EmilyEmilyIris

i'm not exactly sure why you've told me twice that he is in support of adoption... i made it clear that i understood his stand in my ititial comment ~ i was simply trying to tell HIM of how the specifics were so personal to me therefore he doesn't need anyone else to come to his defense about the issue, you see? i was just raised with a heightened awareness on the topic...just as he was given the same on cancer way too young ~ so, oddly enough our trails gave us common ground

  • Cute(:

  • anyone else pause at the side effects definition

  • i just got the boo i want to wait til school but i cant ill read another book for the project

  • I have this book on my iPod. =-)

  • Omg people, Josh is having a surgery. Stop asking for the episode, he already said it would be out later this week. Good God -.-

  • @UnknownMugiwara what happened to him oh wait is it his nose or was that a video from a long time ago i remember seeing something like that

  • @superduperhappyvids I'm talking about the surgery he had this monday.

  • What About The NEW Episode ?

  • new episode

  • This was a really good episode :)

  • where is the new episode

  • @ninjadork64 dang, my local Barnes & Noble was out of stock, as well as on the website. lucky you.

  • woah, new episode today then, right?

  • psh! I'm a girl, I was adopted, and my first child will be adopted! (that's also why I'm anti abortion, I could have been aborted instead of put up for adoption.)

  • Hey @JoshSundquist i always want to ask you that how did you choose this name for your book ? " JUST DON'T FALL "

  • @LookItsJagan When he was in the Paralympics, during one of his races, his mother was in the stands saying "Just don't fall, Joshua, just don't fall"

  • @BeautifullyTragicxx Cute Story Bro ! aw... ;) Joshua we should handout sometime, but i am in India LOL

  • i like the way your mum and dad say "we'll tell you when your older" because they knew you were going to be ok :) x

  • These suck now.

  • I liked it better when you drew them all by hand.

  • These animations are better than the drawings! stick to this :-)

I love it, and I cried. (among other emotions.)

Only one other book has made me cry before.

  • Awwwwww lil' Joshie... :( :)

  • Is this based on your life or just a made up story?

  • @jonsmoviechannel it makes me sad that you had to ask this... YES its based on his life

  • @jonsmoviechannel watch all episodes... -_-

  • awww this was so cute:)

  • @TheFluffyClouds Haha, thanks. It's such an easy word to remember. How did I forget it?

  • "Oh SOn, you've inherited my comedic timing" :D

  • This is so funny... I just can't get over it!!! (Not trying to be offending or anything, it is just made with a lot of humor). :)

  • I LOVE UR PARENTS! when i first read that i was laughing so hard people were looking at me funny! that never gets old...lol!

  • Josh, as of today, I am done with radiation! I got to ring the bell signifying the end of treatment. Having cancer sucks..but it doesn't HAVE to be the end of the world. We are living proof of that. Thanks for these videos, you're amazing.

  • Your Voice Is Soothing.

  • @thefluffyclouds Yes, cancer treatment definitely still falls under crazy expensive medical costs in the US. My mom had kidney cancer and her chemotherapy pills were $3,000 a month but we have insurance...it's really disheartening all of the people that go without cancer treatment in the US w/o health insurance :( Hope that answers your question though.

  • so uuh, have they told you already?

  • Old enough to know you might die from cancer, but not old enough to know about sex...

  • Funny drawings to a sad story..

  • This is my favorite one

  • "Tell you when you get older." If that was me in that situation, I'd totally be like "but... what if... I don't get older? Then I'll never know!". Although I suppose that's not the main concern if you are about to possibly die soon.

  • Seem's like someone's getting the talk....

Also, Josh Jr. looks like a sumo wrestler!

  • No need to thanks us O_O LOOOOL

  • Viking versus Knight! It's "Deadliest Warrior: Josh Sundquist Edition"

  • i miss your drawings =[[[

  • "like brangelina" hahaha

  • so are you infertile?

  • @TheFluffyClouds agreed ! we have it free in canada too, but i wonder about the states...ill google it ;)

  • nice ending of the segment

  • :( I still miss your drawings, they seemed a lot more personal and I felt a better connection to the story with them

  • @CrystalCuteCuddly fux no

  • @CrystalCuteCuddly thats what u have to say after hearing this story?

  • @CrystalCuteCuddly i find this alot better actually......

  • @aditi1998 me too

  • @ijustkendall yeah...it's like watching a movie...I loved it when he drew it but it wasn't something like i was watching it...you know what i mean? It looks like I'm just watching a set of pictures...with narration.

  • @aditi1998 yeah i know wat u mean

  • lol 1:36

  • I suddenly wanna see a picture of you with a shaven head. Please?

Has anyone of you ever heard of soursop? It is a fruit that's also great treatment for cancer. I think it's 10x better than chemotherapy. The reason why people didn't want to release this information ealier is that soursop only costs a little, while chemo is expensive. People's greed for money has caused millions of lives.

  • Today I found out that I don't have a blood clot in my lungs after 5 hours in the hospital! YAY!

  • These are realy good

  • loved this one :)

  • If you think this is personal you should wait till later in the book...

  • Are you sterile??

  • @1995error thats a bit personal dont ya think? lol

  • @1995error bit personal don't you think? :/

  • @HotDog1482 he put it in the book and in this video, i dont think that he cares

  • @1995error not personal at all...

  • @1995error we'll probably find out next time

  • hehehe!

  • My uncle had cancer as a kid too and could not have children as a result of the chemo, so him and his wife adopted two great kids. Adoption is a chance to turn something that many people would look at as a tragedy into a blessing - both for you and the kids.

  • SSHHHHHHHARRRRRRPIEEEEESSSS

  • @born2golf1221 nope, no sharpies in season 2

  • dame you was a smart child.

  • I love this series.

  • Im getting your book Saturday and I live in Virginia also

  • I live in Virginia too, so when ever I think of buying your stuff online I always think about how you only live about 12 minutes from me.

  • I've read the book... I'm not really sure why you keep calling it hilarious. I loved it, but it made me wanna cry at several parts and I honestly didn't laugh unless it was a joke.

  • This 1 was not as sad as the previous videos :-)

  • @ JoshSundquist so are u sterile? can u get ur wife pregnant? (future wife)

  • this may be too personal, but are you sterile?

  • are you eventually going back to drawing them?

  • Like Bragelina!!!! LOVE IT!

  • good thing that josh lived so now we have a great story and youtuber!!! :D

  • So did that side effect happen? o.o

  • my dad also had a sarcoma. it eventually killed him

  • how... could you not get your wife pregnant if you're missing a leg?

  • I love this :D One of the best ones yet!

  • u r just great. just great. just AMAZING. I would buy an albulm where u just read it to me cuz i dont like to read

  • You don't have to answer if it's too personal, but are you sterile from the chemo when you were a kid?

  • how can this get a dislike

  • I couldn't put your book down. I finished it about a week ago and LOVED it.

(SPOILER!) Question: did you ever end up sending Olympic stuff to all of your supporters? What were their reactions?

and omg 1:04 vs. the last conversation in the book with your parents O_o

  • @Navs1231 OMG ur right o_o

  • "like having a small person who can sweep and dust and vacuum for you"

giant win. this is (just one of the many reasons) why you are awesome Josh Sundquist!

  • i love the part where he asks why it would effect the girl. i know it sounds bad but i laughed

  • I love these so much, Josh. I really do.

  • Have you found out if the chemotherapy caused sterility?

  • Time for the talk about cocknballs

  • awwwwwwwwwwww

  • omg aww that was so cute at the end XD

  • I blushed too at the end Josh...

  • Hey Josh,

I loved your book and I had my mom read it. Now she keeps asking all sorts of questions like "so is he just a motivational speaker now, or does he ave another job?" and "You said he has a pretty tame love life. Why do you think that is?" (she's a therapist, go figure). I was wondering if you could make sort of an update video about once every few years showing where you are in life right now, what's up with your family, etc.

  • Your eyes r so amazing at 3:58

  • Excellent,as usual:)

  • Yay for adoption. For a kid you were a smart cookie.

  • CLIFFHANGER! NO!

  • Teehee that was so cute :)

  • You say that this is a "HILARIOUSLY true story in the intro", but so far my tears have been more like "OMG this poor poor child only has a 50% chance to live???" and less like "HAHAHAHA HE SAID PREGNANT!!!!!"

I look forward to seeing the humor.

  • Alright, WHO are the two jerks who disliked the video!? lol

  • oh how we all wish our kids would actually do that :P

  • I love how your telling us the pages now, I like reading along :) (Then I watch again to see the animations)

  • i like ur drawings better plz bring them back

  • so has your dad explained everything to you now that you are older? :P

  • Did they ever give you "the talk?"

  • JOSH WE SHOULD HANG OUT SOMETIME

  • i love the ITS ON! when your talking about chemotherapy

  • the glass is half full but i still got 3 :)

  • Cute ending. :)

  • so can you get a girl prego

  • This was probably the sweetest chapter yet, thank you so much for uploading these!

  • 0_0...you can bang chicks without any worries of getting them pregnant...

  • does anyone know if he can have kids now?

  • You are absolutely precious, Sundquist. I'm so glad you kicked cancer's arse! :) LOVED this chapter

  • awe when your older.hehe

  • I realy like these JDF videos, I wish we could get 2 a week!

  • @RYandN8

They probably were just upset that it didn't show in their subscriptions box yesterday

  • Awww The birds and the bees.

  • hee hee when your older

  • I have the book and every episode I grab the book and read along, your amazing josh!

  • can i get this book in uk?

  • my dad died around the same age i was as when you lost your leg, is it bad that I wish I lost my leg instead of having to lose him

  • @kylie9022 Not at all. That's the (I can't think of the word. but the opposite of selfish) thing to do.

  • @kylie9022 no bc you would still be around and your dad would still be around. I'm sorry about your dad. I dont know what I'd do if i lost either parent but as you can see josh has taught us all that losing something doesn't mean it has to be a bad something right?

  • woo! adopted people!!!

  • what do u use to animate?

  • Tobuscus?? 4:07

  • @watcher123711 NOPE

  • @watcher123711 No...

  • Wow. You were a smart kid.
