Creepy? They named a robot Creepy? Tonka should have fired the person who was in charge of naming their Go-Bots, because whoever it was somehow managed to pick the STUPIDEST names for them. Maybe then they wouldn't have gone under and got bought out by Hasbro.
As far as the commercial goes, it was pretty standard back in the 80s to alternate between live action and animated parts. I remember plenty of commercials that did the same, including Transformers ones.
